I really wish they can see from this angle, can't remember the last time I wait or sleep begging for trip, now is selecting trips, the job is getting easier as day goes by. The bone of contention now is to what limit r u willing to go and that's an individual question to answer. If may aim is to do 15k or 20k and call it a day, I see no reason why someone have to drink panadol on that.

I pity the newbies trying to rent cars and veterans trying to save up for a car and still feed their families. Cause partners will secretly increase rent and HP cos they will assume they are coding.

Guys, as a partner-driver, just like u enjoy all your earnings without remitting to anybody, u are also soley responsible for all repairs and maintainance cost of your car.
But my question this morning is which is more painful, between the cost of repairs and the loss of income due to repairs downtime?

Downtime for me. I hate it like mad especially days when you're seeing surge all around you and you can't work.

I know cost of repairs is a one off, one time thing so I'm not really bothered about it. The money can be painful though when it's on the high side

I think it was added to the fare from the trip details below. Let's check it together bro.
The fare was suppose to be N6336 but rounded it up to N6400.
I think it was taken from the extra money added to make it N6400.
I might be wrong though

Uber no get joy o, Their money is N1,584 but they took N1,648 from u. So the extra amount that was rounded up for the Rider to pay, they collected it from you back. Seems that's d source of the Development Levy, U r right. And they will still have change.

When I still drove Uber, even if they round up riders fare to the nearest N100, they will only subtract the exact fare and commission from my balance. Not the amount rider paid. Meaning all the extra money is for the driver.

Now I see another way Uber is making money,
It will be interesting to see what they do when the difference between exact fare and rounded up price isn't up to N20 cheesy

Well for me this is dicey, life just getting harder as one grow... we can't deny inflation right now, d cost of buying gas is not the same, d cost of repair is not the same. Mobil that used to sell for 4500 is now 7k, and I want to believe 500 have b add to that 7k. Anyone that chooses to open restaurants should kind of have cooking as hobby, but that doesn't necessarily mean they open for fun, if not for profit. Wit the present situation drivers should b able to gross 90/100k weekly with less stress, after all I think they should still have nothing less than 65k to share. And in situation like October to Dec where drivers can earn more, what do we do? They are lot of hidden unforseen clauses in drivers/partner agreement, it's either one work out the process or lean on good faith, by both sides watching out for each other good and uplifting.

Now, let's properly ask him the stupid questions they always ask,, so that they see how stupid they sound when they ask such moronic questions....

This earnings you posted today, is it consistent?

Can you make this week in week out?

What's your net earnings after expenses?

Can you consistently make this from now to the next 6 months without burn outs?

How much is left in your bank account?

It's not about you posting earnings, it's about how much you have after feeding, commission, fuelling, repairs, lastma, police, VIO, road safety, agbero....

Can you post how you spent this earnings?

Let's see your breakdown on a sheet of paper and win 50k.....

Are you gradually seeing how stupid you all sound when you ask these stupid questions?

The revolution is ongoing.

How many hours did u work to make this amount?

How exactly did u make this money?
Am sure u didn't bath or paste for like 14days.
Did u sleep in your house?

How stressful is it to make this amount?

What are the risk involved?

Actually u can make this amount but it's not sustainable. grin

U should b able to get a house of 400k in opic, but I don't know much abt the total package, maybe 120k will do. But before going to Opic, think twice about the long bridge traffic, it is always out of this world, when it red.

Thumb up to drivers living in area like Opic, berger and Ikeja in this period with d aim of going to island in the morning. Gosh! The tot of the to and fro traffic alone, can demoralise one.

Shebi it's rider that's paying

Your job should determine where you should pick.

Is it because of Uber you're renting?

U need to ask ur 'trusted' electrician. Cos it is not something every adamu, okoro or bayo should know about. I believe it will still be selling in the auto market.

Better done in ladipo or alaba or tradefair by a stranger who will never see u again or know ur residence. No one can be trusted

I only use Indriver at midnight when Bolt and Uber has shutdown. Nawadays with traffic everywhere, I can't try Indriver during the day. I rather park and sleep than carry VI to Berger for N4,500 inside 3hrs traffic.
