I thought I will get to the end of the form before it prompts me to pay the visa application fees and then generate a number for my application? or does this mean I will have to go (physically) to GTB bank and pay first, then the bank will generate a receipt number, which I will enter into the online form? I just confuse for this platform!!! Please someone advise abeg, I have abandoned the form o!

You will need to make payment to GTB prior to booking an appointment. You can go to the bank physically or pay online. Either ways, a receipt number will be generated for you to use in hooking the appointment. If you are going to the bank physically, you will need to go with your passport and if paying online, you will need your passport number.

I want to start my B1/B2 visa application on my own. I will be applying for myself, wife and son. There are my questions below.

1. Will I fill the D160 form for the 3 of us separately or there is a place to attached the 3 application together.

Yes. Separate DS160 for everyone

2. Can I pay visa fee using Gtbank application or I need to visit a bank.

Yes. The most convenient.

3. How do I merged the 3 application together when booking appointment.

You will see Add Dependants when filling out ustraveldoc for appointment

4. Can I do all these using my mobile phone or Tablet or I need to visit a cyberCafe since laptop is damaged.

Any actually, but a wide screen device will make it easier. The form fields don't resize more than certain pixels. Use you tablet.

5. How do I book interview appointments once all this is completed.

Create a profile at ustraveldoc.ng, provide DS160 and GTB confirmation numbers

Dear experienced Gurus!

Pls help my sister with your advice, she has been to the US on two occasions on two different US visas, she wants to renew again. The issue is that, on the two previous visas, she used her boyfriend’s name as spouse, she claimed married but never presented any marriage certificate, she also did not bears her boyfriend’s surname, unfortunately the relationship ended two years ago, now she’s married and she’s afraid to change the old spouse name on her form to her present husband’s name due to fear of denial.

Kindly advise her on what she needs to do. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. Yet to book. I abandoned it. I guess not all GTB banks can be approached for this purpose. I think I saw Gbagada, Lagos online, but it's kinda far.

Please whats your experience with booking flights with a travel agent versus booking directly through the airline? As per cost, ease of changing flight dates, general help and support etc.

I want to go through a travel agent but mu husband is trying to book directly through the airline company.

Thanks for your response. The previous marriage was not backed by law or registry certificate, how can she get a divorced letter? Because there was nothing binding them? It was just a form of cohabitation. Kindly advice further, thanks.

Get a new passport ASAP. I was in this situation when i applied for my last US and Canadian visa. I was advised to get a new passport. After acquiring the new passport , i inserted the new passport number in my online application forms .Then i attached the old and new passport together with a rubber band. So i will advice you to do the same.
