That is a really nice tutorial, but I'd disagree with Python implementation. You mentioned that python can be used for game development and android development. Well, technically you are right, Python can be used for these purposes but it is not used. As for the game development, you can't really create some complex and beautiful game like GTA or Need for speed using python. There is certain community where people create the games using pygame, if I'm not mistaken. But all of their games are quite primitive like tetris or snake. Surely, if one wants to do game development, they should turn to C++ and Unity. As for the android development, again, it is possible to make apps for cell phones but it is a real headache to do it using python.

Hey guys, If you can see this, I'm back fully. And I'm gonna be making my first big project tutorial. And guess what the tutorial is gonna be??

I'll be cloning the nairaland website completely from scratch using django a python framework. Every feature, Including some more added features. like hashtag functionality, in-app messaging, notifications, etc.

The tutorial starts with the introduction to django and we learn more while we build.
You just have to understand the basics of python, classes and inheritance. Tho I will explain these as we continue.

As usual, It is COMPLETELY FREE, and the link would be shared on the telegram.

Recording has started already, would soon start posting.

I just created a telegram forum for interaction. Here's the link: https:///devloopers

try and except is to catch possible error messages , for this why I used ValueError because if you put int("bob"wink you will get a ValueError error. If you don't put the type of error it catches all kinds of errors(eg ValueError,TypeError,OsError etc). So it will still work but the only problem is when you want to catch a particular type of error message.

Hi zizytd,

how is your programming journey? Took a break because life got in the way, no excuses though, now I am back and better. I stumbled upon some resource that will help challenge and improve problem solving skills: https://projecteuler.net/.

If you want we can collaborate and support each other in our journey.
