Exactly what I thought of considering schools open in September.. July/August should he time used to tidy the next stage including school fees payment, health check up, visa interviews, flight arrangement et al. If you don't get a call or a mail between this week and next week, Just forget it, they would have already their candidates by then, that's if they don't already have their candidates atm doing all the necessary run around. Considering slot spaces are already tight, candidate's could have already been shortlisted

Agip, unlike other companies, send success and regret mails to applicants simultaneously. This has been the trend for the past 4 years with exception of last year when the scholarship wasn't awarded. I advise we patiently wait till mid July, 2021 before been too anxious. And is very important we note that all applicants cannot get success mail. So, while we hope and believe God for the best, we should also have other plans should things not work out. All the very best to u all (including me).

This is not entirely true. Successful candidates are notified much earlier than unsuccessful candidates

Yeah they may not necessarily get the message at same time...regret mails comes after success mails..I guess that's how dragnet works considering some dragnet exams been writing a while ago..nevertheless, we keep the hope..at least for now we know that No one has been contacted yet....I'm just having the feeling that it'd soon come..lol

I don’t quite understand. I applied for LSS and uploaded admission letter during application. Those for LSS that were contacted to upload admission letter, please did they say anything else apart from uploading admission letter? Did they say they have awarded you the scholarship? So that we that weren’t contacted would move on. Please a response will be appreciated.

From 2018 thread on Agip scholarship... This was the same time LSS were contacted to resend their documents..admission letter being included...

What normally happens is that most people don't apply for LSS, however when they score in the LSS band, they're contacted to upload their local admission letters

The reason for this is that most people apply for the OSS, uploading foreign admission letters. However, when AGIP/Dragnet evaluate the results and find these people qualifying in the LSS score range, they tell those who do not have any LSS admission letter to upload theirs.
From now it should take about a week or two for successful candidates to be notified - you might not be contacted to upload anything if all your documents are in good order. The next set of emails should be a notification email - either from AGIP or from foreign Universities notifying you that they have shared your admission details with Dragnet/AGIP to verify your admission

Thank you sir for your response. Are you saying those that were contacted probably applied for both OSS and LSS? I only applied for LSS, and didn’t get any notification to upload any admission letter.

What I am saying is that irrespective of what you applied for, you are considered for both Local and overseas categories. The best 5 are considered for overseas category, and the next best 5-10 are considered for local category.

Are you speaking as an authority, more like a spokesman for Dragnet/NAE? Successful candidates were contacted even in August some years back and it's just July, some calm down.

And again, are you expected to be back to your home country immediately after the program? Or you are allowed to apply for the UK postgraduate visa... Kindly clarify please

How the OSS works is that following the award of the scholarship - the beneficiaries chosen schools will be paid the tuition, after the tuition is paid - the rest of the funds will be transferred to a domiciliary account specified. That can now be used to sort out other things. However the person must provide a valid visa for that to happen (this is to prevent people from absconding once they have been paid their upkeep allowance). As for flight - AGIP themselves will book the flight for OSS awardees and hand them the ticket for the date of their choosing.

Finally - it is not a condition that you must come back upon completion of the program, you can apply for further studies or work or postgraduate visa as necessary. I hope this helps
