Evening booses, please help me with which is the best study progression for someone with BSC in Dental technology from a reputable university here in Nigeria. And want to go for post graduate diploma program. He's looking at public health nursing or social work as related to is discipline but I advised him to let us hear from the gurus for a good choice of study. Schools with low tuition fee should also be put in consideration. Thank you all while we're awaiting your responses. |

Lekiboboe: Thanks for this information. I hope you opened the link and read well enough to know it doesn't affect those that have already secured post graduate admission for this fall? Infact, the tuition increase doesn't affect postgraduate studies (yet). Shalom! 3 Likes |

Soleye24:Good morning, Work Towards going for a Thesis-based (research) Masters in Biochemistry so you can stand a chance of getting a Fully-funded (scholarship) Masters degree in a Canadian university/universities cos here is really no cheap institution in Canada, financial readiness is extremely essential. That being said, take your time and study the contents in the link below, relate to your area of study for masters and put it into action against 2022. https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/321#103487629 See the link below for Masters degree programs in Biochemistry at CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES https://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=Biochemistry&program_level_merged=Master%27s+degree&program_language=ENGLISH Good luck! |

Hello! Please, what visa will be given to someone going as a representative of the company in Nigeria he currently works, in Canada. What type of visa will be issued to such person, is it work visa? And if it is, are people being granted work visa now? For how long? Lastly, has anyone seen a case like this before, being sent as a representative of the company's branch in Canada?, due to some issues needed to be tackled. And how legit is this for visa approval? Thanks! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by lawfree638: 1:05pm On Jul 10, 2021 |
emmalextemtop: Hi!! If you are going to a branch of your company, you will be issued an LMIA - Work Visa. (Restricting you to only that company unlike OPEN Work Visa). LMIA Work Visa is restricted and has several documentations from your Company Branch in Canada. LMIA - Work Visa are legit but rare. Approval for work visa is currently being issued especially when its an essential job. Based on the processing time for Nigeria, it could take about 28 weeks. However, LMIA Work Visa approval promptness is equally determined by your company branch in Canada & IRCC. Lastly, this is a student thread! Kindly go to the express entry related thread to get more info. |
