You haven't failed your daughter. We learn everyday. Once she's able to communicate well, teach her basic sex education. The parts of her body that no one should touch.

My reply to her was no not possible for the exception that she has a lineage of twins. She said her doctor told her it's possible that she should return to the hospital after her last period. First off, there are different types of placenta previa (complete, marginal and partial). Did they specify what type?

Anyways for any type of previa, Drs typically advice that U avoid sex in the course of ur pregnancy and some might put U on bed rest.

Some cases of previa resolve b4 delivery but it can only be monitored via a scan. If it doesn't resolve then, U definitely be having a CS birth due to the risk of bleeding if u r allowed to go into labour.

Had it with my first pregnancy but didn't have any bleeding or other symptoms associated with it and I had my baby via CS wt no complications.

U can read up more to educate urself and also ask ur DR questions so U are aware n can make decisions on ur own.
It's really nothing to worry about if U have proper knowledge.

So the paed we saw said the vagina closure is as a result of vagina inflammation and that droplets of urine, excessive sweating down there and even certain diapers can cause it. And that the area must have been red like a sore and decided to heal and close up because at her age she doesn't have the hormone(estrogen) that is supposed to keep the place naturally lubricated to avoid gumming together.

So he recommended a topical estrogen cream to help her produce the homone and we are to apply it for 2 weeks and that it will lubricate and release the muscles around the site and open the vjay up.

But the only thing is she may start menstruating earlier than her age mates because she's been exposed to puberty hormones at a very tender age. I feel I have failed my girl as a mother. I've been praying for her and asking God for forgiveness

Our next appointment is in 2 weeks time. He said he will only do a minor surgery on the site only if the estrogen cream didn't have any impact after usage but usually there's very high positive result with the cream

That's my HMO hospital and they are not always thorough with ordinary treatment and my colleague that used them for delivery kept complaining about their services till she put to bed.
I used Isalu for my delivery and I hear good things about Royan too.

I've not given my 7 months daughter any drugs not even paracetamol not to talk of agbo.

So ma'am I don't think it's really something to be worry about if you can't barb the hair, just continue to rub coconut oil. Other beautiful mum's here may still help sa

Please mama,don't be hard on yourself. The Lord will take control and she will be fine.Talking about menstruating earlier than her mates,it should not get you worried too much since menstruation is not a disease condition,and you will be surprised that,the doctor's prediction might not really happen.Please put your self together and apply her drugs religiously as the doctor said. All will be well ma.Big hugs.
