in English you're right. But the word delicate doesn't go with the bible verse. there are bonle dictionaries nah. thats my point. we use bible materials to study. because the scholars consult with original language.

even the original laguage of the bibles do have synonyms that may not agree with a verse because of the context.

in english a word may be synonymous but not necessarily xompartible in context.

Lord may be synonymous with God on a context . But the fact that a Judge in courtroom is addressed as "My lord doesnt meean you can address him as " My God"

the word "Lord" is not a synonym for word "God", definitely not the Bible and certainly not the English language.

Actually people do...
The name has more of Arabic origin, "Dalila/Dalaila" and many Arab ladies bear the name.
So it's more of wanting to be called a name with a strong Arab link.

Delilah is a collective name for certain set girls..... If you know you know.
