Something happened this afternoon on my way from church, wanted to fuel my car at mobil along airport road, got down from the car with the engine running, my lil bro was in the car with wifey.

Gave my card to the attendant 5k fuel, he inserted his nozzle, immediately my brother called my attention to the fact that the engine was still running, I comot eyes as I no want make dem scam me, immediately the attendant asked me to switch off the engine, my spirit say this guy wan scam me, as I didn't even like his face.

Checked the meter before proceeding to switch my engine off, meter was at 90, as I switched off and faced the meter, suddenly it became 975, I tell my guy say wetin happen, werey say na gas tank wey dem.on cause him own meter to stop, I didn't say anything, werey balance me 4025, I checked my gauge it was not complete, na so I tear for am say he must complete my fuel oo, na so one of him partners came, probably the supervisor, baba tell am straight up that he'll pay for the fuel and he helped me fill 1k again.

Moral of my story is shine ya eyes, these attendants are not your friends.

A Plate number is tagged to an individual. If u or someone commits a crime with your car, u will be nabbed, provided ur plate number was captured by witnesses or CCTV.
Now if u sell ur car and leave the plates for d buyer, whatever crime he commits with that car, off he wasn't caught on scene, u are at risk of being arrested and possibly jailed for what u know nothing about. So if u sell ur car to a stranger, pls remove the plates.

Also ur plates are still valid even after selling the car, u can use it to register a new car that u acquire
Haven't u noticed new cars carrying old plates numbers? That's cos instead of registering fresh plate number, if u have a plate number from a car u have sold, u can use it to register another car. Works pretty much like change of ownership, but in this case, they change the car details linked to the plate on the system.
