That thing about Mount drifting is true. It's something I have noticed, and it's the reason he was as anonymous as he was. He drifts out and stays on the periphery a lil too much, when he should be drifting INTO spaces in the middle third of the pitch. It's a shame, because he possesses a fantastic halfturn and him making himself available in those pockets of spaces would lead to some quick transitions up the pitch and benefit his team.

However, it IS something that can be corrected and learned as he continues to develop. That's why while I recognise that it's a problem, I do believe it can be rectified as he matures. I've watched him for three years, and he has made improvements in different facets of his game, and I believe he will continue to get better from here.

What me I sha don't agree with is when one says things like there's nothing remotely creative about him, or he can't make a through pass to save his life, or he cannot improve. These are simply not true. In fact, they're very false. There's plenty of room for improvement in the playmaking aspect of his game, but saying he offers nothing in that regard is too much of a stretch.

I feel this very season will be very defining for him, and the other young guys like Havertz. He's got to show that he can be THAT guy, and while I believe he has the tools to be THAT guy, he has to start showing it.

Before you post this ask yourself how many times was Mount involved yesterday or was he passed to. Even when he was in space, they will only pass to him for a one two or if it was absolutely impossible not to pass to him.


Forget Havertz, they tried the same nonsense with Havertz in the first game and had to stop it. Havertz would run into space those dots Muller and Gnabry would prefer playing nonsense than a play a simple pass, especially Gnabry.

oga ans those questions? Am not a mount supporter as if not d failure of d harvertz we won't have been using him as our 10, but always comparing his success to mount success at Chelsea is bad. I’m glad Mount didn’t play because he might miss, I don’t want anything that will psychologically affect his growth and development.

He’s still a young player trying his best to help his team.

The pressure and expectations from Sancho next season will be much. It took ManU two years, if not more, to discuss his signing.
