If you think you are strong enough to survive in Mexico on your own, then you don't have a problem. You can always renew your visa for a fee at the Mexican airport or so. I can't remember what they call it again. Just google to confirm. |

You have set yourself up for hard life especially if you don't have any in demand skills but seeing the way Nigeria is going. It might be a decision you might not regret in the next 10 years. |

ednut1: Language barrier: My touch down area is relatively dominated by english-speaking people (mostly retired USA citizen). Over time I will get to understand their local language. The rest is complicated and difficult to understand, but 100% I'll get to Mexico. Thanks for your concern. 1 Like 1 Share |

I have for so long wish to stay or leave in Mexico and not even to cross to Yankee but to settle with family. Just that I don't know any way forward regarding visa process. From my little research online, YouTube and writeup. Mexico is not as bad as people paint it. When compared with other countries in their continent mexico isn't a bad place. Work on nice areas that is safe, get ready for language barrier issues. As for means of survival interest is so open, English teaching can be a start up. Nevertheless, everything in life has the bad and the good side. Be optimistic and look towards positive side. With time you will be fine 1 Like |

I’d never support illegal migration in the because of the sufferhead involve but right now ehn...This Buhari’s Nigeria is on another level. I’m a little worried about two things ; your cash at hand and your height. That money is so small and as an immigrant (illegal one at that) everything you’ll need cost money. Work papers, accommodation, feeding etc. if you choose to work under the table if you can’t pay for illegal work documents, your pay will be in peanuts. You won’t be able to save anything tangible. This is what pushes illegal migrants in to crime and drug trafficking. Secondly is your height, you’ll still out like a sore thumb wherever you go Man. I’m not sure that is a good attribute for some without papers who is supposed to be hiding in plain. It’s just my opinion though. Why don’t you look at going to Brazil instead, it’s immigration laws are more lax and friendly. There is a large African/Afro community in Brazil and you’ll blend easily. In my opinion, Brazil is more developed and is big on tourism too, it should be more easier to find “something” to do there while plotting your final way out. Personally I’d just say you should wait and check out other viable means of eloping Nigeria. Most of these means are DIY so you won’t be spending any money on any agent. Gummygummy: Spot on. Indeed, not all heroes wear cape. Thanks for the terrific heads-up. My ordeal is that I have to touch down MEXICO first before any further hurdles. |
