MARKone:
I've received such transfers two times, but not in millions. I normally ignore, won't touch the account, na them go still rectify am, as long as my own money is not touched. Can't stress myself going to the bank for someone's mistake.

It happened to me years back too, I just ignored it and after three days they rectified it.
350k then.

As much as I appreciate this guys noble deed. I do have some questions to ask...

How were you able to trace the owner over the weekend, even contacted him and got his details and even agreed with him to go and pay back the money to his account today?

Are you a Bank staff, how come you got his personal details?

Hope it's not what I'm thinking ooo!

So he traced the owner and ASKED him for his account details. WRONG!

Go to your bank and ask them to reverse the transfer. Don't collect account details from anyone when this kind of thing happens to you, even if the name on the account they gave you is the same as the name on the credit alert. There are many duplicate accounts out there, the same name but different persons

Smart guy. They used his account to launder money and he has cut. Using SM to clear himself.

If I were the guy I would pretend as if I didn't receive anything. If after like a year no call from the bank I go on a spending spree.

Your doing well

But charge them commission

After all even to use USSD this government is charging #6.98

That was my opinion too. I for charge am commission for transfer as dictated by the bank.

I'll tell the bank that the total that should leave + transfer fees must be 2.5m nothing more.

Na when you see stern EFCC officials with handcuffs, you go even beg make dem carry your own personal money wey dey on top give the guy.

Efcc will come and arrest me because a money I didn't request was sent to my account? you're just too dumb

you think everyone live in their shadow like you, na your type them go dey use arrest to threatened

if any money enter my account, it will be locked and all transactions in that account will not be possible without invitation or SMS. so I'll just be stressing myself looking for the owner of the account and be sending money back with bank charges o ode?

even the Efcc hands aren't clean, those thieves will prove why I should be arrested
