TD’Tigers: Edoho blasts American TV host, Clancy for saying Nigeria has no food



Nigeria’s TV host, Frank Edoho has blasted American celebrity sports commentator, Kelvin Clancy for saying the USA basketball team lost to a country without food.

DAILY POST had reported that Nigeria shocked the United States of America 90-87 in a pre-Tokyo warm-up march on Saturday night.

It was an international shocker after the West African side, with their little-known NBA players, defeated the All-NBA, All-Star and max-contract US side.

Following the development, Clancy had taken to his Twitter account to express disappointment that the United States had lost to Nigeria’s D’Tigers.

”’We lost to Nigeria in Basketball? Do they even have food?

”You know what am just gonna watch UFC,” he wrote.

Reacting, Edoho in a post via his Twitter account blasted Clancy for referring to Nigeria as a country without food.

He further notified that Nigeria will still eat the US up in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the UFC match he claimed he was going to watch.

”I think it’s a greater shame on you that you whooped by a country that you think doesn’t have food. I guess we are hungry for it.

”By the way, in the UFC we will still eat you up, Oloriburuku,” he wrote.

When Nigerians lambast their country, they do it out of serious concern and with the hope that things will get better. When Oyibos or foreigners diss our country, they do it out spite, with no concern for our welfare. They do not give a damn about whether Igbos are being oppressed or if Fulanis marauding ethnic minorities.

Think twice before siding with an Oyibo who's criticizing your nation. Grow some balls and have some dignity.

I just asked an innocent question and you're taking it personal, do you know the number of people that sleep without food on daily basis, there's hunger in the land. Stop living in self denial.
