MaxInDHouse: I thought so! This question is the foundation upon which JWs believes is based, if the foundation is shaky what will happen to the house built on it? It will come crashing! JWs sect was founded on a lie with an expiry date, if you had given any answer to that question you have just picked your own expiry date for your religion. The year 1914 is the foundation, if it was a lie all along it means Jesus did not come (it was later changed to "Christ's presence began" ) that year, if Jesus did not come that year it means he never appointed your governing body as faithful and discrete slave, if he didn't appoint them it means they are charlatans, if they are charlatans it means you are not even a Christian! MaxInDHouse: Before the coming of Jesus God foretold that a child will be born that will destroy Satan and all his works {Genesis 3:15} when Eve has Cain she thought Cain will be that child {Genesis 4:1} but when God prefer Abel's worship to that of Cain, Cain felt snubbed thinking Abel will be the one to fulfil what God said so in a bid not to allow that Cain killed Abel! Ever since then the fight for supremacy kept increasing until Nimrod was born. This was the first man who gathered people and began ruling over them. God's word said Nimrod is against God {Genesis 10:9} because Satan wants to use Nimrod to monitor that promised child that will come and destroy him! To be continued... |

MaxInDHouse:So Nimrod made himself a king and began ruling the people and to keep them together so as to fulfil the assignment Satan gave him (monitoring the promised child) that's why God confused their language so that people can scatter all over the earth. Satan knew God has gotten his strategy so he changed the plan which is making one king rule over the entire earth. That's why the demons that's followed Satan scattered throughout the earth monitoring people's lives to know where that promised child will come from. So kingdoms were built here and there but one king will reign supreme over all the others this is how world powers began. But don't forget Satan's mission (to continue monitoring the lineage of that promised child) When God called Abraham out from the East and settled him in the land of Canaan most people who heard the story till today keep are saying Abraham's blessings will be theirs as well not knowing that God was protecting the lineage through which that promised child will be born. Genesis 12:1-3 At last when Satan heard that Abraham has gotten the promise Satan began monitoring Abraham's lineage! That's why Abraham and his descendants went through a lot in the hands of surrounding nation who were under the control of Satan and his demons! To be continued... 1 Like |

johnw47: Thanks for bringing out the question johnw47 at first i was trying to find out what the other guy was asking, i don't appreciate attached videos or files whoever wants to discuss only need to bring out the points he or she wants us to share but when i discovered he's rude and aggressive attitude i decided to ignore him. "GENERATION" "Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things happen" Matthew 24:34 From the above quotation we are concerned about the colored because it's what bothers all true servants of God right from the time of Abel until now. All the prophets except Jesus of Nazareth were anxious to see the end of this wicked system of things. For instance Habakkuk in deep thoughts over all the atrocities committed under the sun said to JEHOVAH: "Your eyes are too pure to look on what is evil, And you cannot tolerate wickedness. Why, then, do you tolerate the treacherous And keep silent when a wicked man swallows up someone more righteous than he is?" Habakkuk 1:13 So all true servants of God are yearning to see the end of all badness! Act 1:6 When his faithful Apostles approached him in private to ask him questions regarding this big issue {Matthew 24:1-3} Jesus explained that there will be a sign to know that the end is fast approaching. He mentioned so many things that makes them lost in thought {Matthew 24:4-42} though this faithful men also never understood everything Jesus said but they were willing to learn more from this wonderful counselor the world has ever known. Now what exactly does he mean by the word "Generation" ? To be continued.... |

To the layman a generation would simply means a period of life time perhaps 80-100 years. But are we sure that's what Jesus meant? When the Bible students (as JWs were formerly called) first considered this verse they thought it would be the period of a lifespan but later they discovered that it means all those who saw the period this events began unfolding including those that later heard of how it began while the event never subsided! So what does this mean? The Bible students first expected the end of the system in 1914 because from their diligent study of God's word they noticed something will happen that year. It later turned out to be the beginning of the end time as Jesus began ruling in heaven and drove away Satan and his demons to the earth. Revelations 12:7-12 Immediately the world felt the presence of this aliens but many failed to take note of it! There has never been a time the whole world ran mad and everyone just wanted to fight which led to a bloody WORLD WAR! followed by food shortages and earthquakes {Matthew 24:7} Jesus said "that's just the beginning of the troubles" Matthew 24:8 Next is how people will be seeking solution to their problems so the demons got to work after possessing the politicians and instigating them against one another at world war 1. Many people from different parts of the earth began experiencing strange powers leading to the initiation of false prophets performing great signs from one place to another. Remember that God's word (Bible) has been there all along yet most people failed to ask "where were all these miraculous powers before now?" {Matthew 24:9-11} none of all the religious groups existing before the year 1914 displayed any miraculous powers not until AFTER WORLD WAR 1! MaxInDHouse: It have always been only JWs that are anxious for Armaggedon so all other humans except JWs can face destruction, its the foundation upon which the religion is built. "The generation" is the foundation upon which JWs believes is based, if the foundation is shaky what will happen to the house built on it? It will come crashing! JWs sect was founded on a lie with an expiry date, if you had given any answer to that question you have just picked your own expiry date for your religion. If JWs have abandoned the generation from 1914 teaching then why hold onto Jesus appointing your governing body faithful and discrete slave in 1914? You can't abandon 1914 and still hold onto all the significant events watch tower claims happened that year. The lie upon which JWs are built have expired move on! 4 Likes 1 Share |

After the false prophets various forms of religious sects emerged through the powerful signs displayed by these false prophets, again most people following them failed to ask "why so much contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines all in the name of Jesus is Lord?" Because of the contradictions code of conduct for those claiming worshipers of the same God will not be specific which will give birth to LAWLESSNESS and the result is many will begin to ignore organized worship since it's of no real benefits! Matthew 24:12 What will Jesus' real followers be doing during this period? Will they also engage in performing signs to woo worshipers to the truth? Remember there will be lots and lots of testimonies about how many people got solution to their immediate problems through the signs performed by various religious sects. NO! Jesus said his own true followers will not be carried away by the false prophets and their worthless signs, rather Jesus' true followers will continue to endure all what this is causing until the end {Matthew 24:13} Jesus emphasized that his own TRUE followers will stand immovable no matter what happens! Luke 21:28 So what will they be doing during all these period? Well people from the North to the South, from the East to the West will recognize Jesus' true followers as one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers globally preaching zealously and industriously teaching in all the corners of the earth, discussing with their neighbours about the coming Kingdom of our Master Lord and King Christ Jesus! Matthew 24:14 That is what many critics misconstrued as false prophecies as Jehovah's Witnesses kept proclaiming the coming of God's Kingdom: First of all know this, that in the last days ridiculers will come with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation’s beginning.” 2Peter 3:3-4 So if some people have loaded your heart's with bitter strife against God's servants proclaiming the end of this system of things be rest assured that THE GENERATION SEEING ALL THESE THINGS WILL NOT PASS AWAY for all these recorded events to become mere stories for another generation to write stories about all the things we're experiencing now! The generation that saw the beginning of this events in 1914 may surely pass away, the generation that experienced the mid event may pass away but these composite sign of the endtime which Our Master Lord and King Christ Jesus talked about will never end when God's Kingdom strikes! Luke 21:33 Therefore if you're part of the generation that is witnessing this events whether you knew it's beginning in 1914, or born in the middle of the troubles or just born now that God's people has stopped going to visit their neighbors which started in 1919 ~ 2019 due to Covid19 I am using this medium to say you're welcome to the LAST OF THE LAST DAYS in fact THE LAST HOUR! God bless you and may you have PEACE!

MaxInDHouse:Right after God organized His people as one nation (Israel) He brought them out of Egypt without a military force. This supposed to serve as a warning to all other nations that the Almighty God is at work with this people but Satan and his demons were battle prepared for a showdown, the nation coming to bring forth that child that will destroy them must not be allowed! That's why God ordered the Israelites to destroy any nation that stands to block their way so that even if all what Jehovah did to Pharaoh and his Egyptian army seems like a coincidence to some people when one Israelites stands to kill one thousand of the enemies of God's promised child right thinking persons will think twice. Leviticus 26:7 Well did this approach yield positivity? God's word made us understand that it surely did. Take for example a woman named "Rahab" an inhabitant of Jericho. All her people and their King decided to stop the Israelites from inheriting the land God promised to give Abraham for the promised Messiah to be born. Listen to what Rahab said to the Israelites: She said to the men: “I do know that Jehovah will give you the land and that the fear of you has fallen upon us. All the inhabitants of the land are disheartened because of you, for we heard how Jehovah dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you left Egypt and what you did to the two kings of the Amʹor·ites, Siʹhon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction on the other side of the Jordan. When we heard about it, we lost heart, and no one has any courage because of you, for Jehovah your God is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath. Now, please, swear to me by Jehovah that, because I showed loyal love to you, you will also show loyal love to my father’s household; and you must give me a sign of good faith. You must spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and you must save us from death.” Joshua 2:9-13 No doubt the message JEHOVAH sends with all the events got to those people but they were just stubborn and obstinate at heart, surely they must have contacted their gods to know if they should run away or face the Israelites. But who are these so called gods the nations worshiped back then? Are they not the same demons? They will certainly ask their worshipers to fight for the land. No wonder God ordered the Israelites to strike them down! What about people like Rahab (the prostitute) who showed loyalty to the true God by helping Jehovah's people? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Well according to God's word such a person will be repaid for a thousandth generation {Exodus 20:6} Jehovah made sure that Rahab's name is included in His plan which Rahab also supported in her lifetime. How grateful and joyous Rahab will be during resurrection to know that her name was included in the book recording the ancestral lineage of the promised Messiah? Matthew 1:5 Jehovah is surely loyal to those who proved to be loyal to his Almightiness! To be continued... |
Re: Study The Bible With Jehovah's Witnesses 1 by MaxInDHouse(m): 5:36am On Jul 13, 2021 |
Most Israelites including their leaders never understood all these plans, in fact they were killing God's prophets sent to organize them in preparation for the coming Messiah! Matthew 23:37-38 So after Jesus' birth Satan still tried to kill this child but God made sure that the child was protected all through until Jesus became a full grown man. Wait a minute! Did Satan think he could kill the promised Messiah for real? Naaaaaaaaaaaaa! Satan just want to get antagonists and critics fully prepared to disrupt the work Jesus is coming to do. Let's assume that while Satan was trying to kill Jesus God began using miraculous works to prevent Satan and his demons what would have happened? Certainly all eyes will be on this child right from infancy! He will not be allowed to walk freely without people monitoring his moves, other kids won't be allowed to mingle with him, he will be raised in the palace of the King since everyone can see that he is indestructible and so he will not be able to walk out of the sight of people who will continue to stalk him up and down. The freeness to go for baptism by John, calling simply and humble people as followers and going from house to house in preaching on foot will not be possible. In fact his brothers and sisters will become celebrities as siblings of the Messiah. All these is what Jehovah avoided but Satan and his demons wants everyone to know that the Messiah is around so as not to allow him live, walk or talk freely with common people! Mark 3:11-12 So since the plan has been completed, the promised Messiah has been born and has commenced the work of salvation there is no reason for God's people to fight over anything to the extent of taking the lives of their neighbors, we are to pity them because if we should die now we know that this is not the real life that our God promised us {John 11:25} but what about the faithless unbelievers? Killing will amount to preventing them from the privilege of FREEWILL whether they will choose to surrender their lives to Jesus our Master Lord and King or not. That's why Jesus asked us to continue praying for our so called (human) enemies! Matthew 5:43-48 Anyone picking up weapons against his fellow human today is under the influence of the killer Satan the devil! Revelations 6:3-4 God bless you and may you have PEACE! |
Re: Study The Bible With Jehovah's Witnesses 1 by MaxInDHouse(m): 7:58am On Jul 13, 2021 |
On this thread a commentator claimed that he has been with some organized system of worship but after noticing the flaws in the lives of individuals associated with this organizations he quit and worship only with his nuclear family! So what should we do when we notice parts of the works of the flesh as Paul recorded in God's word {Galatians 5:19-21} in the lives of humans we believe as our fellow worshipers or SERVANTS of the true God? Should we allow such to irritate us to the point of quoting our association with fellow believers for worship? What did Paul said about those who quit their association with organized system of worship and chose to worship in isolation? Did Paul experience flaws in fellow believers of his time or were they all perfect in the ways they handle all things having to do with sacred services? Well the next topic of discussion be centered on ORGANIZED SYSTEM OF WORSHIP, the good side, the bad side, the troubles, the benefits and how God value it! You're welcome once again, and may you have PEACE! |

MaxInDHouse:From the watchtower’s point of view, what do we mean by ‘generation’? MaxInDHouse:Who inspired the JW to think that generation ‘would be the period of a lifespan’? Note, this was thought as ‘Bible Truth among the JWs as at that time. In one of your 1984 Watchtower publications, it was written that all the people that witnessed the first world war in 1914-18 will not die off before Armageddon takes place. Do you still hold onto that belief or have you discarded it? Note, this was also taught as the ‘Bible Truth’ than. MaxInDHouse:We can conclude that diligent study without God’s leading will always lead to error. What’s the purpose of JW’s diligent study when it is still prone to errors. Prove to us, using a clear and definitive verses of the Bible, that Jesus began his rulership in 1914. MaxInDHouse:Before the 1st world war people have been fighting each other. Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Russia in the 18th century and the war was bloody and covers a large space in Europe. We have the Anglo-French war which lasted almost 100 years. These destructions happened before the so-called 1st world war. And note, the war in 1914-18 didn’t cover the whole world but mainly in Europe. The 2nd world war was far more destructive in terms of space, resources and human lives involved. Building a theology around 1914 is crazy. Why did the watchtower hold onto 1914 when they have acknowledged that their prophecies for 1935, 1975 and 1984 are all wrong? If they are wrong in their Bible interpretations concerning the end of time for 1935 (Bert Serim), 1975 and 1984 (conclusion of the end of things), why are they now conclusively right on 1914? MaxInDHouse:People have been seeking solutions to their problems from time immemorial; nothing new. Men have always been at war for thousands of years. The claims you are making are unfounded and untrue; you are only reciting and parroting the weird watchtower’s standard and official narratives. You said none of the religious groups before 1914 were performing miracles, provide your irrefutable source. 2 Likes |

This is no more an adult engagement but children’s Sunday school lesson. MaxInDHouse:Still not relevant to our discussion. MaxInDHouse:It is wrong to pick a weapon to maim or kill your fellow man but it is much more foolish not to defend yourself, with weapons, when under a life-threatening attack. Self-defence is a natural reaction when face with certain death or injury. The children of Isreal fought wars and battles to defend themselves from their enemies. Nations still fight to defend their land and the weak ones. No country on earth will allow another country to invade and take-over their territory without a fight. Even monkeys will fight you, in the bush, if you want to take it territory. MaxInDHouse:May God open your understanding more and more 3 Likes |
