Not always...I know there are no numbers to back this up, but people sell their cars for divers reasons.
Most times when people buy lemon it's because they want to be greedy or feel smart, a car that is bad will definitely go for a low price...haven known d value of a car, u still want to price it down, now seller knowing this car isn't good will sell it off without remorse.

People sell cars to solve problems, upgrade, travel, or use money for business.

Toks over naija used, Yes, but also consider the purpose of buying and the cars in question.

1, Drive carefully where you feel you might scrape the ground.
2, switch to bigger rims 15 inch
3 Switch to bigger tyres.

My civic had 185/60/R15. No issues with clearance.
You can take it a notch higher by using 195/65/R15.

Flirting with the idea of doing this to the S40, its belly scrapes the ground like kilode. But I like how it sits low, it looks sportier.

I like this Civic. Please is it for rent? Let me take it.

Why all this ?

When that guy was doing things his own way, we all gave our opinions on his approach to things, on the long run the guy decided to retract so peace can reign....so why all this ? What are you hitting at?....it will be an act of hypocrisy if he decides to react with his own way of doing things and anyone try to make him do otherwise....

Abeg Npala stop all this and let's all act matured.

Now, just imagine if such rider had reported you for driving wrong vehicle. The next thing bolt does is to block the account. They hardly investigate. The work just get as e be sha. Na so one rider mistakenly gave me 1 star yesterday. Alaye con dey feel bad when I tried to explain to him the implications. According him, so far he picked any star, star na star. He sha sent a message to them that na mistake. That's how the day ended for me sha. Moral just go 100 percent low.

That was exactly why I quickly replied her to nip it in the bud immediately because if I had not done that, next thing she's doing is reporting to bolt.

Come to think of it, thank God she even spoke and I had the opportunity to defend myself. Some will just keep it to themselves and report to bolt and trust them, na straight hammer.

Is it just me, or are there other drivers here who have never begged for riders rating before? Like, you just get to their destination, they pay you, you wish them well, and zoom to the next, that's how i operate though, and it's been working for me, the riders themselves are the ones who even call my attention to it that they have rate me 5 , and i just smile and say thanks... It's not like i care much about the rating, cos i believe no Matter how many rate you bad, there are still few good riders who rate you well ...

Same here, I have never and will never beg for rating.

And now I can confirm that bolt manipulates the rating, at least for riders.

I have a rider app on 4.70. I think I mentioned it here the rating dropped to 4.70 from 5.0 when I used it to order a ride for my wife and I was surprised the driver rated her one star.

So the rating has been on 4.70. The only thing I use that account to do is to book myself on cash trip to be sure I'm not restricted to card then I cancel. Never did an actual trip with it. Yesterday, I wasn't getting requests at some point and was wondering if they had restricted me to card. Fired up the rider app to book and guess what I saw? My rider rating has dropped to 4.30. I'm wondering how will bolt spin this one this time or perhaps cancellation affects rider rating.

Hopefully and soon enough, I'll have irrefutable evidence driver rating is affected by other factors outside of rider ratings.

Oba akran./Adeniyi Jones traffic junction heading towards akilo.

It's a cash point for MIB and lastma. On Monday, I saw four bikes on standby with 2 MIB each on the bike. I'm like truly, grin these men are securing Lagos.EIGHT grown men on one traffic junction alone. shocked. Wao.

1. Don't park on the ZEBRA crossing.
In trying to avoid been flagged for running the light. You might stop abruptly, n find yourself on the ZEBRA. So pace your motion, so that you don't beat the light n you don't also get stopped on the ZEBRA.

If you are on amber, it's advisable you stop, no one can penalise you for this, provided you are not on the ZEBRA.

2. The last right lane turns into Adeniyi Jones. DO NOT TURN on red. Wait for the green light. There are only two scenarios when you can TURN right. a. When you are on green facing Akilo and b. when the vehicles on Adeniyi Jones move into the road facing Ikeja underbridge. The same rule applies for those about to exit Adeniyi Jones. DONT allow any car bully you with honking.

3. DON'T make a U turn. The U turn is further down the road by that AIICO. (those heading to Akilo) and by Forte oil now Adova ( those heading to ikeja underbridge.).

I saw your initial post and I kept trying to play the scene in head.
I was wondering what gave her the impression that your car is not corolla when she didn't even check or was she just looking for a way to start a conversation?
Cos I have seen ladies say the dumbest things when they try to start a conversation with a guy.

If i were you i would have given her a sarcastic reply.

Some women just carry wahala full body.

My brother, my account was on the line and I wasn't sure what she was up to. And no be say na the new 2014 corolla. Na still the normal one wey be like pure water.

Boss my sincere advice for you...is to visit first gate, there is a very sound mechanic there (name Obi). But you will be the one to source for your part, though he can help out, he will list the grades for you and it's yours to choose.

No o, there are junctions where going straight and turning right have their separate lights, it's an offence to turn right when the right direction arrow is red
