Remembered mine with Sokoloan of recent.. Requested for a loan around 8am in the morning for and emergency and they didn't credit my account till some minutes to 7pm.. Tried reaching thrm throughout that day to cancel it, their numbers not going through. I was able to finally reach them through mail and they end up giving me excuses insisting there's nothing they can do.. 8am to 7pm. I ended up paying their money and deleted their app off and mailed them to delete my details on their platform. Those people are just using style to milk us. I wonder why their contacts don't always go through. 7 Likes |

I encountered the same issue recently. I borrowed three thousand naira only. While I was trying to pay back, technical issues came up, I couldn't pay when I should. A guy called, he threatened to use police after me, I asked him because of how much? He said I am a bast*rd I was angry. I replied him with heavier curses. I paid back the next day. This morning, as I was going through my phone. I saw their apps. I deleted it without thinking twice. 3 Likes |

Believe me, I started using loan apps while I was doing my second degree (my thesis). I was forced to use these app because I was expecting a scholarship fund which was delayed, so I had to get some fund to complete my project. I borrowed from BRANCH, PAYLATER (now CARBON), FairMoney, AELLA and PALMCREDIT. I was borrowing and repaying on time. This made them all to increase the amount of loan I could get. Three years down the line, I have built a good credit score. I have NEVER defaulted for once. I work in a good establishment and I am a key person in the organisation. However, life happens, my investment collapsed and I was also defrauded. I was unable to pay my loans. BRANCH was calling to know why I defaulted considering my good record, they were also giving me tips on what to do to reduce my loan repayment...they were really fantastic. CARBON....Left me for a while, then they started disturbing with calls every day....I almost had heart attack...but they were still considerate. AELLA....They were not too forceful on repayment. I paid them quickly as it was a small loan I collected. PALMCREDIT....The worst of them all. They almost gave me high BP. Their loan was small but their threat was the greatest. They ssent a message that they would sent to all my contact that I was a thief and fraud who ran away with their money. Oh my God, Me that I have lived a good life all my life...how can i be declared as a thief....my wife must not know this, how about my in-laws, people at work, coursemates, pastors,.....I had more important people on my contact list, I could not imagine the reputation damage that would cost....I just had to borrow money from a friend to pay them. THEN i learnt a lesson of my life, it is better to borrow money from a friend or family member than to borrow from these loan app. They can soil your good name just because of N5000. After making payment, then some money entered into my account....they debited me, and the loan I had already paid did not reflect....I chatted them, they were playing me from one agent to the other. The one who sent a threat message to me said, he was not in charge of my account that he cannot reverse the debit, the one who was in charge of my account, was more of an illiterate....he kept sending threat messages to me even after I had made payment...later she would sent threat messages to me and tell me to ignore. I was like, Why not remove my number from your list of debtors. It took about 2 weeks before their system clears off my debt. Next time, if I see Palmcredit....I will never stop by. Up till today my excess fund is still in their hands. FAIRMONEY: This one is very dubious. One day after your repayment due date, they will start adding interest to it. No grace period at all. I borrowed 80K for three months...after paying two months, I decided to pay for the third month even before the due date....so I can have access to get another fund, guess what....they gave me same loan but this time, they wanted me to repay in just one month. I thank God I am free from them all today. Based on my experience, the best loan app in Nigeria today is BRANCH, the second is CARBON....Outside these two...run away! In everything I give thanks to God, I learnt in a hard way never to borrow money just because you qualified for a loan. THANK GOD I'M FREE TODAY....SERIOUS IT IS NOT GOOD TO BE A DEBTOR 39 Likes 2 Shares |

Almost all these online loans are fraudster. I had a similar experience, I then reported them to EFFCC and CBN, it was when I sent them the copy of my report that they allowed me to repay my loan. I wouldn't know if they were contacted by any of the agencies but I sensed urgency in their approach towards me. Since then I stopped dealing with any online loan apps 2 Likes |

Opinion.. Having challenges with other loan apps try fairmoney loan app using my link in order to get quick accesss to a loan https://fairmoney.app/referral?referral_code=FMYZS. What I have experienced with the app 1.when you pay back ur loan on time you will get the chance to take another loan more than what you have borrowed before 2.when you don't pay on time or your loan is overdue they will call you with different agent and politely ask for the reason you haven't pay back 3.when ur loan is overdue it will start generating interest for 10 days only 4.when they notice you are not making any effort in paying back your loan then your case will be taken to the bureau 5.As you borrow and repay your loans even if you have missed a payment date or your loan have been overdue in your loan history You will still get a large amount of loan for 6 months tenure or more. 6.you can also extend your ongoing loan when you notice you can't meet up with the current amount you are owing. 1 Like |

Toktee:no i am not defending criminals, other loan companies also collect these info ans still ask for guarantor and collateral. my point is, what u are paying for is for the guarantor and collateral they dont ask for. we need to know that for anything we get in this world there is a price for it |

Deadlytruth:i have said it before.. Lcredit is the worst loan app amongst them. If you love yourself, just stay away from Lcredit if you're not sure of repaying on time, if you ever default, the damage they will do to your person is rather imagined than experienced. The best is Branch and Carbon... Branch no get problem, if you default, they hardly disturb you with calls or messages and they won't add any more money to the loan. |
