1.0 PREAMBLE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR PART & FULL TIME ADMISSION INTO POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION.

The Postgraduate School invites applications from suitably qualified Candidates for admission into its Various Postgraduate Programmes (Full and Part time) for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

2.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The University requires Five [ 5 ] CREDITS including English Language at Ordinary Level (GCE, WASC, SSCE, NECO and NABTEB) for ALL Courses and Credit in MATHEMATICS at Ordinary Level for SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCES, MANAGEMENT SCIENCES and EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT Courses.

3.0 Method of Application
Applicants are required to pay a sum of N25,300.00 non-refundable application fee into LASU account only.

4.0 Closing Date
Application closes six (6) weeks from the date of publication.

Note: All applicants shall be required to sit for qualifying Entrance Examination on the Main Campus at various departments on dates to be announced later.

5.0 GENERAL INFORMATION
Application forms for all programmes should be submitted on-line and a copy of the e-Registration slip printed out by the applicant.

NOTE
1. Candidates who have not completed the National Youth Service Corps assignment or their current Postgraduate Programmes need not apply.
2. All academic transcripts must be received latest two weeks after the close of sale of forms.
3. Request for transfer of processed application forms from one Department to another will not be entertained.
4. Candidates must personally attend the selection and written examinations as make-up test will not be conducted.

DBA is one of the newly introduced & accredited course in LASU, therefore, I do not have the cost info now. But these are the requirements which might interest you.

i. Five (5) ‘O’ level credits, including English language and Mathematics, not more than two sittings.
ii. LASU accepts Professional Master’s Degree/M.Sc. degree in Management and Social Sciences related disciplines with a minimum CGPA of 3.5. Candidates with CGPA of 3.0 may be admitted provided such candidates will be prepared to offer make-up courses.
iii. Candidate MUST have atleast 3 years industrial experience.

BSc Biochemistry is NOT eligible for MSc Public Health in College of Medicine. But you're eligible for MSc Medical Biochemistry. It's best you do a change of course. To do that, visit the ICT centre at the Postgraduate School, LASU.

LASU does not offer Molecular Biology either at Undergraduate or Postgraduate level. Unilag offers M.Sc Cell and Molecular Biology and application for 2021 is currently on going.

Duration to complete a M.Sc at lasu is a year or max 3semesters.

You're qualified to use your HND Statistics to apply for PGD Mathematics, but your PGD Statistics can't fetch you admission for MSc Mathematics. And with ur PGD Maths (with a min of 3.5cgpa), your can fully focus on a new career path in Mathematics.

PGD Mathematics runs for 2 semesters on Full Time basis. Fees is between 170k - 190k.

Sorry for just replying. Don't worry about the session. Just apply and make payment to complete the process of your application. The school just concluded 2019/2020 session as a result of the pandemic. So 2020/2021 is the correct session as you have it on the portal.

PS: if the registration number generated earlier didn't work, you'll have to begin the steps 1-3 all over gain.
