Anyone here remember that my female friend that I said we applied together last year and even did our biometrics November 2020 and my own study visa was declined this January while she was called for her medical same time and she did her medical in February I said her application has been on hold since then( over 4 months) no messages from IRCC and just today PPR dropped! Really happy for her because the wait alone na die, she didn’t even wait for an hour before she send her passport through DHL lol
What I just notice is if IRCC requests for IELTS and mybankstatement please try and provide it even though it’s optional, I think it gives an applicant a 90% chance of getting PPR
I didn’t provide it and my application was declined while she did IELTS and provided the mybankstatement , might not be the reason while mine was turned down but I think it will really help a lot to provide it.

Not correct... Re-application is not necessary faster than the first application... We have seen on this thread in the past(2019) where an applicant's 3rd approved application took almost a year(11 months) while his first refused application took just 2 months and many more like that.. It can and may not be faster.. So you cant categorically say it is faster.... Peace

I got a visa refusal on basis of personal financial assets. I want to re apply and strengthen my proof of funds. Please tell me if there's anything I can add.

1. Affidavit of support from both parents saying they are Able and willing to support your entire education.

2. Bank statement on all accounts using the bank letter head and stamped.

3. Your personal account with about 5-6 million for your first year flight and living expenses.

4. Your parents land documents with market value and duly signed and stamped by a notary.

5. Your land gift deed duly signed by a notary

6. Your parents payslips from July to march...to be gotten at the end of the Month

7. Proof that you have begun the process of payment for your courses through Western Union including a scanned copy of CBN Form A


NB: Every single document must be notarized!

hey guys i know this is a student visa thread but my mum is trying to apply for visitor visa to accompany me to settle in school in Canada
on her required documents, there is something called proof of relationship.
who can explain it to me please so that she knows what to submit there?

Proof of relationship should be documents that show the relationship between you and the person accompanying you which in this case is - “your mother”. It could be your birth certificate that shows her name as your mother of course and her international passport as well. If there are more documents available to prove to them that she’s your mother , then add them.
