J0sh007: Third party launcher? If yes no it won't work and that is because most launchers haven't made their launchers fully compatible with Android 11 |

Guys...welcome me onboard,I just got my new redmi 9t 4gig ,128 gig,my first redmi product. The camera is superb. I bought it based on hype about redmi phone that the are rated as equal to iPhone..but I seem not to see anything so spectacular in it that Infinix won't do..(this is due to ignorance)I would like you to orient me more about the phone...how i can maximize and explore it and enjoy the great features... I patiently await your contributions I saw people talking bout gcam, what's it about? What features can I enjoy on the phone.. 1 Like |

Gcool2:Lol. Even if Mi phones are rated as iphones, it definitely can't be redmi 9T na. Redmi 9T is a lower midrange device from Xiaomi. And as comparisons with Infinix, Xiaomi Phones don't start hanging heavily after some few months of usage, Xiaomi Phones camera quality don't deteriorate after some months like Infinix And most importantly, Xiaomi don't abandon their phones without releasing updates like Infinix 14 Likes 1 Share |

Gcool2:This is why you shouldn't follow hype. Always do what you believe in. On this note, I'll advise you put the phone up for sale and get the latest Infinix phone. Cheers. 4 Likes |

Hello All, Please is this normal? Redmi Note 7. About 1 year and 6 months old. If I change the battery how many hours coverage can I get at best? Thanks. @Mustiboy

Gcool2: You're funny. Your device is a low-end/entry-level offering from Xiaomi. That is, a device made for people on a budget, people wey no get money I know you spent 70k on this device, but don't be surprised this phone of yours would sell for less tha n 50k if not for the recent deterioration of our dear currency. So, if you must compare Xiaomi to Apple, do so with their upper midrange or high-end offerings, not a phone you bought for 70k. I'm saying this because I know someone who bought ordinary Redmi 9 and was screaming out of his lungs to anyone who cared to listen that Xiaomi is far better than Apple, Samsung, etc. He even said the camera beats that of the iPhone 11. Imagine arriving at such verdict with a phone that cost less than $150. Nobody says shouldn't love Xiaomi, but some of you just overdo it. If you wanna know how truly amazing XIAOMI devices are, go for their high-end smartphones, each of which falls within the price bracket of 200k to 580k. And FYI, Xiaomi has one device that is far better (emphasis on "far better" ) than the supposedly best device iPhone 12 Pro Max by Nigerian standards, Fanboyism, and gullibility. That phone is MI 11 Ultra, and it's sold for ₦560k or thereabout. If you buy that one and start comparison, I'll be proud of you and support your bragging with one bag of beans. 5 Likes |

Mustiboy:I really love your analysis bro...but the mistake you made was that you really attacked me when I only aired my opinion..I NEVER bragged about it.i simply said "I bought based on hype".I came out as an ignorant person with my post willing to know better, but all you do was to over-bloat your stance. "That is, a device made for people on a budget, people wey no get money" This phrase of yours is absolutely uncalled for..I really feel offended. 8 Likes |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Mustiboy(m): 4:49pm On Jul 16, 2021 |
ev4real: I don't think battery replacement is a wise investment. Just buy a powerbank since you'll most likely not be using the phone next year. Your powerbank will serve other purposes. There's this very strong Oraimo powerbank that sells for ₦8,500. It's 20,000mah. You'll probably spend 6k on a new battery with replacement cost. Spend wisely. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Mustiboy(m): 4:51pm On Jul 16, 2021 |
jboixxx: Not sure. It may still go up again. My momma buys bags of beans every month, that's why I'm updated on the volatile prices. |
