Does anyone know the minimum cost of attendance, living expenses and visa processing fee for a two-year MS program outside London? I'm a novice here, and that's why I'm asking.

Please pay for priority for both of you if you can afford it...it’s better to be safe especially if you’re in Abuja.

Melahou:

Congratulations!!!
So does it mean it's adviceable to do priority visa for main applicant while dependants do standard visa, since decision will be made for all same day instead of priority visa for main applicant and dependants.

Cos am planning to do priority visa for main and dependant as well.
What's your take

Good evening people,

Pls I will just want everybody that has collected there visa to check the date on their passport. 2 people talked about the wrong date that was issue on their visa yesterday but was thinking mine was correct…

Checked mine now, I was surprise my own date too is wrongly written. Am seeing 20/08/2021 - 18/11/2021 which was suppose to be till 2023. I have seen different answers to this but is there an embassy contact I can get right now for correction or it’s until I go back to TLs ikeja. people that talked about these yesterday, how did you go about it?

Thanks

The date stated on your visa is the validity travel period which is like 3 months. Meaning you have 3 months space to travel to where you are going from 20th Aug. You can’t leave Nigeria before 20th Aug and you can’t also leave after 18th Nov. That’s my understanding of the date you can verify with previous peeps that have traveled. It’s in the letter or BRP you will see 2023.

As an alternative, you can explore the option of priority for the adults and standard for minors. I don’t see a way they would treat the priority for adults and leave the minors.

Is it in your passport or the letter itself?
If it’s the former then This is correct.
It's the letter that states how long you will stay in the UK
It means after 23/11/21 I cannot use this sticker to enter the UK

That’s correct. Please don’t worry about the visa sticker. The BRP will replace it immediately you get to UK.

Yh, I called to confirm, although it took about 4 calls and me having to explain that I can't remember the date

for those that have done the test, all I need to take is my passport and evidence of payment right?

Please my great people , I need your help. The bank statement I want to use is showing 2Mill transferred from my savings acct to the current acct I want to use for visa application. Can I use it or I should wait for extra 4 days & go print another statement that won't show transaction of the 2M. Though I intend submitting today.

I had a chat with an agent last week and even with student discounts, Virgin Atlantic is still 500k+

someone here posted yesterday that flights a way cheaper on BA if you are going from Abuja, that's an option you could explore

if you have 1800 GBP to quarantine you can take Qatar and the likes, they are cheap (This is a joke ooh, please always check if the country any connecting flight will be passing through is in the red list)

Yes the dependant is restricted from doing certain jobs such as being a sportsperson, a doctor or dentist in training and No you ain't entitled to public funds cos you ain't a tax payer, even students do not benefit
from that as well. You Vignette is in order

Please I want to ask, if one is not a student but has work permit, like how much can the person make in a month on average on any kind of job.

You can give job type average too if you have idea.

Say the person hustle seriously.

This is the right answer to your question, the three months visa is just meant to enter uk and after ten days of your arrival in UK your Biometric resident permit will be ready to pick up at your selected post office that closer to your school. If you could remember they ask for school post code in other to post your brp to the closest post office to your school. To ease your stress please go through your printed application form.
Congrats and I wish to get mine next week.
