Nigeria is seeking $1 billion so work can continue on a gas pipeline costing up to $2.8 billion after Chinese lenders failed to disburse cash as quickly as expected.

Buhari won't mind borrowing from Obi Cubana after his mother's burial since China don't want to give us again. Be it as it is Buhari will always have where to borrow since the only economic policy he knows is borrowing. What Buhari cannot destroy does not exist 18 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria would never find its feet if we have intelligent people controlling its affairs and not innovative people. many intellectual individuals in Nigeria lacks the ability to innovate new strategies on things but rather keep playing by the script of things. we don't want to gamble but rather live from peoples experience all the time even though the circumstances are not identical. I was happy the other day when I heard the FG printed #60billion to cover state allocation, I taught they are beginning to have sense but didn't know they are far from it. ordinarily borrowings should be made to fund capital projects that would generate revenue. but the case of recurrent expenditure, the CBN should print cash artificially in cases of cash shortage to manage it. to all those trying to speak inflation I think they are blind to the fact that even when we didn't print cash we were hit with inflation. monies are being starched by some billionaires that should be helping the economy but instead of wasting resources going to court, the f.g should replace that money pending when they have more evidence. money should be relatively scarce not hyper scarce. 1 Like |

There's no country they haven't borrowed from... even Brazil. The worst part is we don't see what they do with the money. They just open their babariga pockets that's like a black hole, and be swallowing loans. That's what happens when you make an almajiri ur President...the begging is in their DNA. 1 Like |

Lol! China knows it’s over for Nigeria. Nigeria is living in borrowed time. Buhari wants to borrow $2.8billion to pipe oil from Niger Delta to Kano. But Ijaw drunkards are more interested in how Michael Okpara used oil money to develop Enugu in 1966. Ndi Ara! |
