Why is this an issue?
For the fact that election results are electronically transmitted does not mean that the INEC officials and party reps won't have signed copies of the election results.
I don't understand why this is such a big deal.

Anyone not supporting electronic voting or transmission of votes in this 21st century has no place in modern governance.

This act by APC proves their plan to continue with fraudulents elections just like they did in 2019.
They just want a system that can be easily manipulated without traces.

The Northerners are now acting with dangerous impunity! This is because they have gotten away with some many legislative evils in the past! Imagine a Northern Army Officer as president, creating states and local governments all over the north as he wishes, legislating that those states and local governments will always get the biggest shares of revenue allocations , handing off oil wells to Northern oligarchs and having all these enshrined in the socalled "constitution"....., only for Southern lawyers to find themselves struggling to outdo each other on who interpretes this constitution better!?


Isn't that more like a joke!? They already have their Quota System judgess at the appeal courts to truncate any attempt to have decent electoral results! Obviously, these people have thrown caution to the wind and are now all out to grab everything! It's because they got away with such behavior in the past that they employed Buhari and his cohorts to come and steal everything in sight for them! Now they're basically trying to rewrite the constitution that already favors them , simply because they feel that the docile South will allow them to hang on to power for ever! Everything associated with the amendment of the electoral law is tailored to suit Northern dominance of Nigerias politics and should be resisted..

Anything good that wants to happen to our democracy APC will blame PDP for it and the will also still blame PDP for all the misfortune Nigeria is facing.

I have never seen Nigerians lawmakers fight over issues that have to do with the lot of the common man.
You will never see them stand strongly behind the need for national equity, reduction of poverty, good education, job creation ......
All these things don't mean much to them.

Once it's about their elections and perpetuating themselves in power...Bam! All their fangs are out.


The saddest part is the Stockholm syndrome that bedeviles the average Nigerian when it comes to politics and politicians.....

We forget that they don't have our general interest at heart and keep fighting ourselves by supporting them on the basis of ethnicity, religion, gender or class.
