owobokiri: When it matters a lot the Yurobas will chicken out, just like the always do, if not tell me why literally all the senators from South west voted against electronic voting, just please the Fulanis with hope that Buhari will give them power. The greatest surprise of the century will be Buhari handing over to another Fulani from another party, sure it will happen all it will take is for them to decamp. |

owobokiri: Guy you see the problem with you guys is that you are programed fools... Your attitude is disgusting you hate the north with no reason. A major problem the South has is how it underestimates the North. Their minders have led a majority of them to believe that the northerner is an unschooled slowpoke who only progresses through connections. Despite northerners that became billionaires by dint of hard work, intellectuals that have pushed the frontiers of scholarship, leaders that have provided impeccable administrations to great applause and politicians that rose like the colossus to dominate their environments, the average southerner still gets bamboozled – and envious – by the way the northerner dictates what goes where. But a pertinent question to ask is, why do people kick against federal character yet want a position zoned, rotated or surrendered to them? If they are as intelligent and educated as they think they are, then they should know that politics is all about bridge-building, consensus and give and take. 3 Likes |

Nigeria can't get it right with the present state of affairs. The Executive is on life support. The Legislature is corrupt and self-serving while the Judiciary is discombobulated.

The beauty of this is that when APC returns to opposition they will regret no supporting this electronic transmission. But as is the case with our politicians, they are only concerned about the now. 3 Likes |

You guys dont want to build bridges. Unlike other civilized people around the world northerners don't want to negotiate with NON MUSLIMS. It's extremely irrational and backwards. They have passed sharia law all across the north despite christian minorities and now want to go down south and do the same thing. I don't understand why they don't understand the difference between religion and state! How can you negotiate with someone who thinks that you are not human because you are not muslim? Despite the fact we are all abrahamic faiths Ibkhaleel: |

paxx: Historicaly muslims have been livin peaceful with xtians anywhere on earth...even at arabi there are people that do not accept Islam and were never forced to do so... whenever a muslim is in power he tries to be just to everyone based on the teachings of his faith to be fair and just....but as for you guys you hate anything that has to do with Muslims you are full of hate speeches lies slander and criminality against Muslims... Nairaland forum is a clear example...are muslims not the majority in nigeria? But have you ever seen anyone come online to belittle or abuse xtians? But your tribalistic bigots are always active on platforms abusing and showcasing their evil mind... Yet you keep ranting that the north is this and that....we are allowing you to kill yourselves with the hate in your hearts... Nobody is intimidating you or relegating you to the background as 3rd-Class Citizens. It is the domineering spirit & the Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) inherent in every southerner that is responsible for your illusions & self-inflicted problems. You are the real problem of Nigeria Spoiling the image of the nation and giving it a bad name but your people peddle lies on the social media numerous Lies & Propaganda. Foolish Dubious & Criminally-Minded Lots! 1 Like |

Well said! Thank you! I wish more Nigerians will reason like you. It hurts to see the democracy we fought for being so totally bastardized and now being used against us. I love this country so much,so much potential, so many beautiful people, such great cultures all around But the people have allowed themselves to become pawns in the hands of a few who have continually led them, not to greatness but to sorrow, poverty, hate, violence and destruction of self and others. So heartbreaking Ibkhaleel: |

bunto: Thanks too... I have never had a sincere and honest reply as yours! We are all not blind.. we know there are serious problems in Nigeria, i am a northerner and a Muslim but i criticize Buharis adminstration on so many grounds....he has failed! But everything should have limit We should focus on getting things fixed and not insulting or abusing which will never change anything but worsen the situation. But what i observed is that most people hate the north simply because we are different, which is very disgusting! Everyone has his shortcomings and i dont believe in tribalism... The same way one believe that his ethnicity is inherently superior to others is the same way the NAZIs and HUTUs did. They are simply a genocidal offenders undergoing internship and awaiting the right opportunity. It is this stinking mindset many have been indoctrinated with that make them cocksure that other ethnicities don't get anything on merit because they've been told that they are naturally unintelligent. May we all succeed! 2 Likes |

They are against it because they know its easier for the results to be audited at anytime when in need for court purposes. Also any padded figures will be clearly seen by even the blind. Underage voting will be tramped upon. And the result will be counted faster even. |

@ Bolded.... This is the part I have not been able to wrap my brain around. Educated Nigerians hate themselves, their country, their food, their way of life etc. Why! Why! Why!!!!!!!. Something is bringing about this low self esteem. That is the evil that should be tackled. What has happened to us these past 30 years that makes is so anti Nigeria I know "neglected" children tend to feel abandoned and hateful because when you are not controlled, it sends a message on your brain that nobody cares enough to insist you do things right. Our leaders seriously need to re- strategise for our common good. Doing the same thing over and over, while expecting a different result, defines insanity. Ibkhaleel: |

Can you explain why the FG wants to give 3% of all oil profits to the Niger Delta (the area it comes from) and 30% to the north? Can you explain why Buhari only appoints muslims to all positions in Nigeria? Can you explain why Buhari was the only delegate in all of african history to vote AGAINST his country when he decided to vote against Peter Onu As OAU Secretary General and instead voted for his fellow tribesman a Fulani Muslim Niger Delta man? Just admit the truth. You may be tolerant but the vast majority of Muslims in Nigeria seem to discriminate against non Muslims and its the source of contention. You dont want one Nigeria, You want the Islamic Republic of Nigeria. My only thing is just leave the south out of your jihad. Ibkhaleel: |

Restructure or unbundle the contraption. North doesn't want restructuring. North doesn't want unbundling. They want open grazing which means destruction of farms and cow dungs everywhere in the streets. The south is obviously being held hostage. Shall we continue like this? |
