Me: Yes

Me: I work as a web developer in xyz Company where we build and deploy tech solutions to business individuals and NGOs, we are basically into web development, mobile app development both android and IOS, software development.. ( VO cuts in)

VO: are you going to come and work with them after graduation
Me: I will come back and continue as a senior web developer.

Everything was going fine until the VO saw that my school is located in the same city where my sponsor lives��‍♂️��‍♂️��‍♂️
That has been the red flag in my profile but I ve been praying for miracle. I didn't have the information on time.

VO: Who is sponsoring you
Me: My brother Dr xyz will be sponsoring me. ( VO already saw his address in my DS-160 I guess)

VO: where does ur brother live
Me: I now knew I'm in trouble. He lives in xyz, He is a US citizen.

That was where she lost interest I guessed. She typed for about 15 seconds and denied me. No further question.

Those that got visa approval here do add o.. that's why they all got their visas approved. Just remember to put # in front of your username when you want to add to further boost your chances.

I stayed in City transit inn for two days this week for my interview. It's 10 - 15mins drive to the embassy.
It's a nice hotel.

I was denied at the embassy this week and tried reapplying immediately. All I get is, if you're denied under 2 months, you won't be granted a date. When I checked the next available date, all I get is Jan 21,2022. I am meant to resume school August 24, is there anyway I can beat this thing and reapply for this fall? I would really need your help on this one. Many thanks & regards.

There is something I can say which is that the bolded is wrong.

I was denied the first time in June and I got a new date for July.

It’s just that the dates are unavailable now unless you continue to check every minute and you have some luck in getting the dates before August.

GIS is a post graduate course (professional) which is somehow related to Geosciences but at the same time multidiscilplinary course. Will this make my visa application easy? Must the MS course be exactly the same as the undergraduate course? Or must the MS course align with job if one is working?

Why don’t you try going for a master’s in geology or Earth science and specialize in GIS for your thesis?
