Hi everyone. Please for those who have dependents and have gotten their visa or submitted their application, please there’s a part for consent that’s quite confusing.
The part after which you declare that you’re applying as the legal guardian or parent of the applicant. Now this part I’m referring to is asking if you will be depending on someone to finance the travel.
Now is this question directed at you the parent or the child (your dependent)?
If I choose yes, it gives me a third party consent form allowing the UKVI to check the account or thereabouts.
So please the Koko now is am I supposed to say yes or no cos I don’t know if the question is directed at me the parent or my child the applicant.

To @justwise and other gurus who can answer this question. My wife lives in the UK and she's a permanent resident (LR- leave to remain indefinitely) but my major issue now is, upon filing my online application form for student visa i was asked to provide the address of where my wife lives cos it's obvious we don't live together presently. But putting her UK address now is really scaring me cos I've a feeling UKVI could be feeling that I'm not a legit student. Please what can be done in this regard a prompt response will be appreciated from anyone here. Thanks.

You have not gotten to the stage of pre-CAS interview nah.....you need to get an unconditional offer...then pay the deposit ....before your pre-CAS interview....one step at a time...I hope your TB certificate is ready??

If the UNi you chose does pre-cas interview , you get to know after you have gotten an unconditional offer, I guess that was what he meant so don’t get it wrong. If anyone did pre-cas interview Ulster pls come help help out

He is actually right and his advice is valid, fulfill the condition of your offer and pay the deposit.

If you read thread, you will see where it is stated that universities do send pre-cas interview guide to students so they can prepare.

Sometimes calm down and not dismiss people anyhow

Funny there is no mention of a pre cas interview on the school website, here is also a link to a guide to applying for your student visa, there you would find possible questions you would be asked in a credibility interview. The Questions are no different from what you would be asked if there was a pre cas interview

Are you sure about Edinburgh Napier? What course? Because the general requirement on the school website is a Bachelor's degree.

Ps. I'm a Napier aspirant

Simple advice to those that have not done their TB test, regardless of the time of your appointment, go there early, they mix up the names and appointment so you might be lucky to go in earlier than your appointment time.

Also, if you didn't receive an email after doing the manual booking, except God does a miracle, forget about collecting your certificate the same day, this is for those coming from outside Lagos.

I beg to defer, I did my TB test today and got my certificate today and it was manual booking and no mail was sent to me. Almost everyone that did today got theirs, except for some very few persons that concluded theirs around past 5pm. They were asked to come for cert on Monday.
The strategy is in the ability to do the test before 2pm, that gives them ample time to process the certificate, cos the test analysis is done in Kenya and Manila.

@Verifiedlu ...be calming down....we are all in this forum to learn ... nobody is a superstar with knowledge...from what I told you earlier I was expecting you to ask me if I I'm a student of Ulster university and how was the process for me ....but you immediately got angry with my response.....now let me burst your head small ....I paid my deposit for Sept session in March 2021....I got my pre-CAS interview questions in June 2021 and if you fail your pre-CAS interview your deposit will be refunded to you....I'm not saying yours will take a long time like mine....all you had to do was to read in between the lines ...best of luck !!

@ Dumebi213.....I have replied him/her sometimes we get too emotional with things like this.....we are all here to learn...no soh one student dey use the rate to sell pounds instead of of using the rate to buy pounds on OANDA....with just a few naira difference he was denied....even the Bible say be slow to speak and be quick to listen.... I only added in the consent letter that arrangement is being made for private accommodation and it is not yet confirmed.
The same is the plan for accommodation in the visa application.

My first question is: is that 50% a condition to be satisfied for your offer to become unconditional? If yes, without paying it your offer won't be made unconditional and you wont get a CAS which you need for your visa application. However, if it doesn't affect your unconditional offer/CAS issuance and is just the enrolment or 1st instalment deadline, it won't affect your visa if you apply before that date as you would not yet be in default (the answer to your question). You will also need to consider entry before the default date because if you attempt entry after that date and have not paid, that's a problem. This begs another question...when is your start date? Relevant because you can't enter until a month to start date.
Lastly and most importantly, assuming you can get the visa and enter, will you be able to pay by Sept 3rd?

Why not do MSc in Nursing. Nurses are in high demand in the UK. Those other courses are not and you might not get a job. This COVID has affected many sector.

Choose University of Sunderland as the programme is accredited by NMC. Your course is only one year as you have BNSc. They accept 2.2 also and you will be given 1000 pound automatic scholarship.

They require both WAEC/NECO English C6 and letter from university that your degree programme was in English.
