Why just 2days earning out of probably 6 to 7days....60k weekly is too small...90k or 80k should be ideal.

True my brother.
It's not logical for a driver to make more than the car owner, talk more of pocketing x4 of what he pays car owner and still expect owner to fix every repair on the car.

If you make over 30k daily, then it's fair enough to pay 2days money out of the 7days in a week to the owner of the car.

60k weekly rental is fair enough with the kind of dashboard we see here.

Mind you, yours inclusive, so maybe using yours as a yard stick remittance should be 8k weekly... Lol

As for me the only time I made 120k net was during the era of 3% after 20 trips on Uber... Even with this bolt daily bonus of 2k after 10 trips I'm still struggling to net 100k weekly. Now I'm being frank here... Net oh I said not gross... The highest I've done recently a day on bolt is 25/27k I supposed which took about 11-12hrs online for me... Now after that long hrs driving do you expect or think same person can still do same hrs the next day and the next day? When I no be robot.

Now, yesterday I didn't go out at all due to the traffic that dealt with me on Friday I got home drilled out, after 1am I entered house...was only able to do 3 trips on that very day Friday... Mind you Tuesdays are my resting days so I didn't work ... This is the reality many will not come out openly to say but as for me I'll always stand by the truth.

Look at the experience BAZ001 just shared... Would an owner prefer rent at 45k weekly and get hus car destroyed after a month or do 25k and let the driver work and have adequate rest and his car last longer? Which would one prefer?

30k to me for a single man is still now bad because you cant compare a single dude with a married man but 30k for a married man to me? Is a big No! Take it or leave it!

Lastly, anyone that wants to rent @60k, 35k per week or wants a deposit its up to that person after all no be help the person buy motor.

My brother follow me ask oh!

Someone will gross 200k a week with 30k fuel.
Remove Bolts 40k commission and it will be remaining 130k.
Driver will now pay car owner 25k and pocket 105k for himself.

And na car owner go still fix motor if E spoil from that 25k oh!

Wicked Ants.

Yea...driver bears all the risk, danger and threat, puts all the work, time and energy. Utilizes his Intelligence and craft to make the money.
Car is insured but life cannot be replaced so if he makes 1m and gives owner 30k its not out of place.

With this your ideas, l wonder how you will cope if you travel abroad, nobody does all this greeting or want to know you, all they want is to get from point A to B. In a comfotable car.
I guess you are joking anyway, cos all this your fussiness will get you kicked of the platform Sharp, sharp.

Mind you we also have foreigners who make use of the app here in 9ja and never for once have I heard them asking such questions... What they do is call to inform you of their whereabouts not even asking of your location.

Your comment should be for drivers with good partners. What do you have to say about partners that are hell bent on collecting full rent despite seeing how the streets of Lagos are?

My thought exactly... Like the current talks now or weekly remittance. Sane thing i did when I was renting is what I'm doing right now.

No work when rain falls heavily, so maybe 3days work per week.

To be honest,
This rental contract is based on 6days a week.
Just use the day ur car is drying out to be ur rest day.
Truth is even if u work 5days a week, u still meet up with ur rental without stories.
Owner never asks for more money when driver makes double the amount he usually makes due to surge, so why should owner accept less because driver didn't work one/two days for whatever reason.

If u put yourself in the owners shoes, God will speedup your promotion.

Before anybody comes for me, I started driving another person's car, today I have people driving my cars and I am still an active Driver. I believe that counts for something in terms of experience in this hustle.

Mr. Preacher, I hear you... If na so life be many people for don get promotion reach heavengrin

Chief...just drive someone's car like its your own. Nature still works man, if u do good, u will see good.

There is no law that u must enter a terrible road or flooded street just to make money, there are a thousand and one streets that's not flooded. If u know u r d one that will fix the damage then u will not enter the water. I don't blame partners that share repairs with driver, it's for this same reason.
When there was partial lockdown, everybody adjusted. No partner will still insist on full money, but this one or two days flood shouldn't cause any stir because driver will make up the money as soon as he gets back on d road.
Partner never asks for more money when there is surge everyday for 7days straight.
Even though rental agreement is on 6days, partner never complains when he sees his car moving on tracker for all 7days.
So my statement is for all drivers who want to prosper in any life endeavor, not only driving.
I don't support drivers mismanaging partners' cars in any way, I drive all cars like my car, even my enemy's if there's one.
I'm just saying we shouldn't be too rigid in all we do.

A driver has been working from Monday till Thursday afternoon and his car was hit by a particular company motorcycle. The company accepted to pay for the cost of repair of the car.
My question: Does the driver suppose to pay rental fee for days the was used (Monday - Thursday) or not?

Why not?

When they were posting dashboard, I remember telling them to try and tell what comes with the high earnings; so that intending drivers/partners will make clear deliberation and have a better understanding before going in.
But some people called it Jealousy and Hatred. Even pearl1910, a veteran driver was on the other side of the divide.

When the driver nets 100k weekly, and pays his 25k, is the driver too rigid?

Asking for a friend... grin

Partner has more to lose, so partner should be more flexible in order to protect his/her investment.
Driver that nets 100k weekly knows what he's sacrificing to get that, things that money may not buy so let him enjoy his extra earnings lol

If you are given a direct tokunbo or a very sound car. Then 30k rent is a fair rate.
If you are hardworking, you should be able to get that.

I agree with Pearl too, any driver on rent that drives the car with utmost care and not being reckless and irresponsible with the car( going anywhere, packing heavy things on the car) will soon be a car owner too.

Partners contributed money and gave civic23 to use as bait(sugar) to lure drivers(ants) to post dashboard and they fell for it. Now partners have seen the money they're making and are seriously deliberating on increasing rental fee, and some people are sweating already.
I support 50k rental a week abeg. After all that's what moove's HP drivers are paying and they're still taking care of their families.
Any partner wey no wan wise up na OYO be im case.

Lol

If a driver works hard, saves and is determined to buy a car, he will buy it.

This is the basic formula, Baba mi grin

If he likes he should drive the partner's car at 20km/h, avoid flooded areas and bad road. If he doesn't save up and is determined to own his own car, he will not achieve it.

Never. As a partner, your input has been calculated so is your output, Fixed. cheesy
Driver's output varies because his input varies.
