That is what I did and there I was no issue.



In this case, both husband and child are the wife's (principal applicants's dependants for the purposes of a UK visa.
There is a difference between the term as used in a visa context (which has the meaning of familial association) and the commonly used term which means someone who is financially dependent on you.

The question is directed to the child. You will select Yes.
You will download the consent form (third party) for financial dependent and sign accordingly and any other person (if your wife's account is part of what you will use, she will need to sign the form separately as well). It is part of documents you will upload in child's TLS page.

I am filling out my visa application form and I came across the page for "Future Official Financial Sponsor". I have a confirmed student loan (with an official letter) which I intend to use as part of financial evidence. Can I go ahead using the details filled in below?
P.S: The approved loan does not cover my full tuition fees, however, I have kept the balance and the maintenance in my bank account (counting 28days).

57,800 for adults, not sure for price for children below 11 years

They have an account number, you'll find it on their website, pay at the bank or do mobile transfer

£2,000 tuition discount.
£15,000 tuition fee.
After tuition deposit of £1,000; you will do pre-CAS interview.
No need for POF before issuance of CAS.

Once your pof is 28 days, you will submit your application, pay Visa fees and NHIS. Let us assume you submitted your application today which day 28th (July 16) and you got July 30 as date of appointment. You can print your pof on July 29 which would be more than 28 days.

Please I am a bit confused, do we still need to take our POF statement, when going for biometrics? I thought we submit it during application online only.

Kindly enlighten me please. Thank you.

No...hopefully after the bank holiday. GCU has been a school not to mention this year, however I hope to get my CAS soon

I’ve been contacting them almost every other day of the week since mid June, nothing positive yet…. I keep wondering when they will.

Good morning everyone.

Please i need a clarification on this.

A 45-year old widow is planning to enrol for a top-up degree ń the UK and she would like to know if she can apply with her 6-year old bearing in mind that the standard rule does not permit a first degree student to travel with any dependant.

She has the husband's death certificate and it seems there is this strong bind between her and the child which makes it almost impossible for her to leave him under anyone's custody while she is studying.

Good morning. I am about filling CAS form from my school,they asked if I am coming with dependants, I am going with them but they will come in early next year God's grace, while my resumption is ins September.

Do I say No?

What if I say yes, will I be required to show POF of funds for them before they issue me CAS?

I don't have POF for all yet, just me for now.

If I say NO will it affect me when I want to apply for them early next year?

Simple advice to those that have not done their TB test, regardless of the time of your appointment, go there early, they mix up the names and appointment so you might be lucky to go in earlier than your appointment time.

Also, if you didn't receive an email after doing the manual booking, except God does a miracle, forget about collecting your certificate the same day, this is for those coming from outside Lagos.
