Kanu will not be tried. Buhari will abandon him and leave office. The target of the government was to put him out of circulation preferably death. Unfortunately the people who arrested Kanu weren't Nigerian agents. There was fear the Kenyan end would reveal that Kanu was handed over alive. Secondly the Nigerian agents were not wholly North cum Fulani. Kanu may remain untried till 2023. Amnesty would be given by the next president after much negotiation, dialogue and give and take. This is purely my imagination as a thinker. Don't take it serious. |
