If you google US Visa Contact number in Nigeria, their number is there. Or send a mail to support-Nigeria@ustraveldocs.com and pray for God’s Favour too but I’m hopeful most people will get this week by God’s grace.

16th of August is a Monday if you are approved you can pick your VISA like Thursday or Friday of that week all things being equal. Then book your flight immediately.

In fall2019 some guys that did their interview who were placed on AP had their VISA approved after the program start date so it is possible for you to also defer your application to Spring after approval.

Before I knew a lot about Havard & Yale I started with knowing about the University of New Haven and Eastern Illinois University. So I started from the safe to the ambitious & I will be going to an ambitious school: a top 45 in the US. Those two schools you mentioned are highly selective school so I believe if you are looking at them you prolly would have had a stellar profile: Top 1% GPA,GRE of 330+, TOEFL of 100+ ( in ideal cases) and with quality internships or work experience in respected companies in decent leadership positions. In other words you would have been working on your profile since you are a toddler.... lol

As for VO or WES: one is Visa Officer the second is World Education Services. Next time you come across abbreviation you don't know type it on google, it ll help build your search skills.

GIS is a post graduate course (professional) which is somehow related to Geosciences but at the same time multidiscilplinary course. Will this make my visa application easy? Must the MS course be exactly the same as the undergraduate course? Or must the MS course align with job if one is working?

Why do you want to do GIS? Do you have anything in mind? I think Environmental Geophysics/Hydrogeophysics will give you better prospect, but the choice is yours to make.

Fine u have a sponsor abroad, which is fine but u need to make them know you will be living on campus.
But then it becomes difficult Sha if your sponsor is within the same vicinity as your intended institution.
You have to be really smart when communicating this to the VO else e go hard to convince them

NYU Law tuition and fees/year is $105,000, or N43m. There is also no way they will waive the LSAT for you.

As someone said, you seem to have done nothing to suggest you want to go to school at all.
