Mobi22:
LONG POST ALERT!
After 2 refusals God said “it is time!
Since 2019 chaii
First and foremost I want to thank God almighty because I knew he’d come thru for me but he over exceeded all my expectations and still gave me jara!!
I never knew that the time when I’d testify was around the corner.
Funny thing was that I drafted my testimony and timeline yesterday evening and behold it became a reality!
To my big nairaland family!! Thank y’all
Cheiii what’d I do without y’all.. y’all have been very supportive and it’s well acknowledged!

Here’s my timeline:
Used the same agent for the first two applications which were eventually refused.

1st application;
Submitted: November 27th 2019
Biometrics: December 1st 2019
Refusal letter: January 27th 2020
- based on (purpose of visit, family ties)

Second application;
Submitted: May 18th 2020
Refusal: September 30th 2020
- based on ( Family ties)
(Employment prospect)
(personal assets and financial status)

At this point I was heart broken to the core because most Monikers in my batch have already moved to Canada.. it was depressing.
So I just took a looonnggggg break!!!! And decided to refire!!

Third and final application;
Submitted: March 23rd 2021
I didn’t get NSE req cause I submitted everything at once
Medicals done: April 21st 2021
Medicals passed: May 14th 2021
When I went redo my medicals in April because the last one done in 2019 had already expired.. I met someone that I saw in 2019 who works there and surprisingly he recognized me and asked what I’m doing here cheesy
I said for medicals oo grin he laughed and told me not to come back here again and when I was going back home he said; who laughs last laughs best .. I really felt that honestly
More than 8 ghost updates
I ordered my notes May 3 and it came June 2 empty!!
I said I wasn’t going to order any notes again

Thanks a lot for your response ...but I think I didn't communicate my question clearly..
So I did not do upfront medicals actually....

In May, I booked a date for medicals for 16th July 2021........... The request from IRCC dropped on 28th June 2021 so I just waited for the date I already booked and went for the medicals with the form IRCC sent....

After the test, the hospital gave me the Emedical information sheet......So do I still need to send it to IRCC or the hospital will send my results

That Emedical information sheet is not needed for anything

Once you secure visa on your passport, pease buy your dollars from any Nigerian bank through form A. It's better that way.
form A from which Bank.I want to pay a school fees and have been to two banks and they claim they are waiting for CBN to give them Dollars. no Dollars

He meant to say Via PTA.

Even when you are buying BTA or PTA, you still need to fill the form A "form" in some banks. I know of some banks. -

Either BTA or PTA, most banks I know (can't say for all) will still give you the form A "form" to submit with your other documents. Duly completed Form “A” is a requirement

So technically, he is correct.
which Bank sir.i want to go tomorrow

He didn’t quote his answer properly, when you get your study permit and about to travel, book your ticket with your airline and take the ticket with your study permit to a bank, ask that you want to do PTA, should be given dollars at the CBN rate but only to $4000 I think.

Abeg which Bank get Dollars oooo

Don't waste your time going to Access bank o, those people are just liars. They would make you go through all the wahala but won't give you the funds at the end of the day.

Please I have two questions to ask
1. How long does your Medicals stay before you are asked to take another one (does it expire) .(or are you asked for a repeat of medical after they have given you your visa?

2.please if your passport comes back with a 7month stamp and your course is 2year is that an issue ? Or the study permit is what determines

Please!!!! Respond
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by makano: 11:22pm On Jul 18, 2021
1. Your Medicals is valid for 365 days. i.e 1 year.. After a year, you are expected to do another one...

2. To answer this, will ask a question. When is the said Passport expiring?

Please!!!! Respond

1. Validity of your medical examination is one year.

2. The date on the stamp means the validity of your travel visa. When you get to Canada, a study permit will be issued to you with a two years validity. The stamp just signifies that you have been issued a visa and must get into Canada before it expires hence why you are seeing 7months on it.

Your study permit you will get at the CBSA (port of entry) doesn’t give you the right to travel to or out of Canada. What gives access to travel into Canada is the stamp you're seeing on your visa and will expire in 7 months time.

Shalom!!!

Access bank is just trash, went there also, and i was told it might take up to a month as CBN isn’t approving transactions yet. Got pissed and left. Headed to sterling bank and I was told it take 3-10 working days. Filled the form and was debited on the 5th day.
