As for the Bastard Op. Go and get a life. All your wailing, crying and Lamentations ends on Nairaland. It does not move a single cup.

Another thuggish element.

Any civilized people around to engage in debate?

Dumbo, did you even read the headline?

And no. ''Wealth transfer is not wealth transfer.''

This thread relates to actual dollar millionaires and billionaires, not you and your fellow broke ass spare parts dealers dashing 100,000 naira to your apprentice.

You must be very empty in your brain....

Wealth transfer is wealth transfer....

Whether with dollars or naira or cedes... The means you use to assist someone to step up above it's poverty line is wealth transfer... Either by dashing money or opening business for them, or sending them to school or training them and settling them... Whatever means you use to transfer wealth is definitely wealth transfer .. there's no other name to it...

Same Igbos they accuse of using only their kinsmen in their businesses thereby retaining their wealth in their families and communities.. (BTW,a truer observation though is that other tribes will never consider the stress of igbaboyi as worthwhile..nobody has the patience, long-suffering and fortitude to endure that 7 to 8 yrs of rigorous service)

If an Igbo man was a dangote,..no single beggar will be in Kano.. but go to dangotes Ward and see a sea of alamajiris beggars

Come to my community every December and see men donating money for schools, roads, local churches, scholarships ,Town Halls and buildings.. there is no single poor family in my community, courtesy of the Igbo adage 'onye aghana nwanneya'

I know say this op dey on cruise sha..he wan just sample opinions..

90% of igbo millionaires and billionaires are EXTREMELY selfish. THEIR OWN FAMILIES SUFFER, apart from the wife and kids.

They rarely do anything for their own communities apart from maybe distribute rice and provisions to the villagers at christmas.

You will see an Igbo man worth several millions of dollars. Some of his brothers/cousins etc will still be hustling on the streets, some even hawking.

You never see that with northerners. Once one of them is rich, and you see the brothers, you won't even know the one that is the big shot, because they're all solid.

When they travel to Dubai, you'll see up to 20 of them at the airport, from Alhaji to his brothers, sisters, mum, dad, cousins, drivers, hairdressers, house helps etc.

An Igbo man, if he travels with anyone, na him wife and maybe his kids. Finish.

More often than not, he just sneaks out alone.

I think the refusal of wealthy Igbos to share their wealth is a reason for the continued marginalisation of Igbos in Nigeria. Political influence requires that you have a large base of well-to-do elite. When you restrict that elite to a tiny club of monied men, your base is weakened, and easy to manipulate. It is very easy for others to take advantage of your group.

North do all these yet they have the highest number poor people on Nigeria if not Africa.

Yet NE and NW are the poverty capital of Nigeria.

Mumu. Sense you no get. Go and get a life a useful to yourself.

That burial dey pain you people. I love you pains. You feel oppressed and traumatized.

Bunch of Inferiority low self-esteem deluded subhuman being.

Senseless thread and false generalization....

It's not a false generalization. If you dispute it, go to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja and spend one day in the terminal observing the passengers. The wealthy northerners travel on holidays with their whole retinue of family, friends and assistants. The Igbos? For where? Na solo levels. The Yorubas are somewhere in between.

What a bigot, so you see what happens in our communities? Many of our rich people fund hundreds of their people to university, apprenticeships, and start-up businesses. They pay hospital bills, invest in hotels and other hospitality businesses that employ thousands of people. Sorry no tribe comes close to Igbos in helping their relatives, NONE.

You just read something and without verification come here to vomit your garbage,

Northerners are so brotherly that they give all their wealth to their people, that's why Northern Nigeria is the poorest region in the whole of sub Saharan African.

Demented comes to mind.

Northern millionaires tend to get their wealth the easy way; with their god-given connection to the ruling regimes that predispose them to the national cake, resources, mouth-watering unexecuted government contracts and foreign exchange. While the Igbo millionaires in most are self-made. They have to put in the hard grafts, cross the seven seas and undergo life-threatening dangers to accumulate their wealth.

A typical northern millionaire believes his brothers should ALSO be millionaires.

A typical Igbo millionaire believes his brothers should NOT be millionaires because that challenges his status as ''onye isi'' (the top dog) whom everyone has to approach for help.

So when he ''helps'' his brothers, he basically gives them just enough to make a decent living, but definitely not enough to place them on HIS level of wealth.

There is always a clear boundary and ceiling, as to how rich he can help you get. It must never be anywhere close to his level.

That is the typical Igbo millionaire's mentality, and it's pretty sad.
How many dangotes brothers and sisters are billionaires?
