Please I'd really need advice from an experienced person here as soon as possible I got admission in Algonquin with due date of July 23, but when I tried paying today accessing the payment method printed in the admission letter, it indicates that you can make payment through flywire. So I proceeded and clicked, on the pay through flywire method and flywire requested I download the app and create an an with them (flywire) which I did it indicated that I'd have to fund my flywire account then after funding it I can make payment to Algonquin college through flywire. So I click on the fund flywire account only for them to generate a wema bank account, which happened today so I went back and click in fund my flywire account again but they keep generating different wema bank account anytime I go back and forth. And they requested I pay the money to the wema bank account with in naira, account, buy keeping generating different account numbers anytime I go back and forth. So I decided to go to wema bank branch here and they said they have no such accounts in their banks and urged me not to pay a dime to that account. The account numbers generated all starts with 71 and the wema branch here said their accounts usually starts with 01 or 02 that they don't recognize this account numbers flywire keeps generating in their name. I'm lost at this point. |

Oviebright: I used Flywire in making my payment for conestoga college. I think it was same Wema bank I paid into on different occasions and it is usually timed either 5 mins or so before the time to pay into that displayed account elapses. Usually after I pay, I click on “transfer made” Within seconds I do receive a message from Flywire that the have received my fees. It’s really weird that first, the have to redirect you to download their app.. I didn’t experience that myself. Secondly for the fact wema bank gave it a red flag. I suggest you write to your college about your difficulty and hopefully they will recommend the best medium for you. |

Oviebright:The Wema Bank Account Flywire generates usually expires after 5mins. They will never give you the same bank account after the 5mins elapses and Yes, the account I paid into started with 7 and not 01 as the bank told you. I must also state that I wasn't asked to download Flywire app before making the payment. |

Every time we keep answering the same question. Flywire has a FORM A option. Select international bank transfer and print the invoice which is going to be required at the bank. |

From what I have gathered here, you do not need to send in your passport or your children's until you get a request from IRCC which won't be until your application is approved. diva4eva: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by lawfree638: 4:13pm On Jul 19, 2021 |
diva4eva: Hi, From the above, I want to assume that you are yet to submit your study permit because of the bolded. So in this case, you need to submit your kids' applications together with yours. Depending on their age, their permit could be a visit or study permit as the case may be. There is a questionnaire you need to answer before your start your application. In this questionnaire, you will indicate if you will be having any accompanying dependent and how many? Please note that each party will have their own distinct application but all linked to yours. In some cases, all could be assessed by the same V.O or otherwise different V.O. As regards sending passports for stamping, if all the applications are approved same time, then you can send them all at once. Only the application profile that has been approved by the V.O can be sent for stamping even though you have several accompanying dependants. So the prayer is for all of them should be approved same time or not be too distant from each other. One last thing, ensure you weigh the pros and cons before you apply with all three kids at the same time. |

You can actually make payment on Flywire with Naira ATM card. I still made a payment of $365CAD as at June on my Flywire account through the Debit/Credit card in NGN payment method and not, International Bank Transfer in CAD. 2 Likes |

Nana53: Hi Nana53, While you await more contributions from the gurus, below is my take; Age is not a barrier to further your education. What is most important is career progression enough to convince the admission officers. You have extensive years of experience, so I don't think you will have any issue in gaining admission. GDBA and MBA are both good choices depending on your academic background and your job functions in terms of work experience. I don't know what you do on your job but the career progression must be logical, especially when you are presenting your application to immigration for your visa. Your academic programme and course of choice have to be similar to your work experience or academic background. One good thing about your profile is your extensive work experience most especially if the 7 years are related to your current job. You can use this to your advantage to convince the visa officer you are established and coming back because you have a good job waiting for you. The motivation for your studies and how this will add value to you and your organization when you return has to be documented when you are presenting your application to IRCC for Visa. @ Lekkiboboe is our career guru, and he has lots of expertise on issues like this, or you can await more contributions from other gurus. |
