Good day guys. I'm just starting my application process and need guidance on a few issues:

1. I'm planning to apply for the October or February school session but my international passport expires in January 2023. I was told the Polish embassy will only give visa if the Passport is valid for at least another 2years. Please how dp I go about renewing my passport in time for applications as my friend who had similar issue was told he can't apply for renewal until 6months to expiry.

2. Can I go ahead to process my application with my current passport and then update my details later if I can get a renewal or will that pose a problem to me later?

3. How possible is it to get authentication and legalisation done for uou by someone else as I am currently working and can not make it to Abuja?

I would appreciate any assistance on any of these. Thanks guys

You can renew your old passport that is above 6 months but it most be in Abuja and not state. Look for means to go and do it in Abuja. Got authentication and legalization you can send someone, but first what is more important is authentication because many schools will accept your application when you do only authentication.

For those that attended UNILAG how do i collect transcript without sending it to schools

And finally, am here and ready to book full space here. I have read all comments to, it have helped me apply to two schools already which am waiting on their decision. In my own little experience, this is for those asking about authenticating outside ABJ. I have someone who traveled to Germany, his Authentication was actually done in MOE Anambra, I was tempted to do same but this saying of joining the moving train is always in my head, so since I av someone in ABJ, it wunt hurt me atall but remove money from my pocket. Thou am having issues with Authentication now as my HND cert and transcript can't be done because my OND is still statement (Stupid Nekede, always stressing students). Anyways, am hopeful in all these.

Where do you all get all them information...who said you can't apply with the passport that will still expire in 2023..nawaooo...biko that is not true �

I think a proxy can do the authentication and legalisation for you but it should be backed up with authorisation letter stating that a proxy will be picking up and all.

Please guys, I am a bit confused about what to do concerning my passport. It happened that my passport will be expiring by October next year and my school program begins by 1st of October this year. I am aware that the embassy requires that an applicant has a passport that has a validity that extends beyond or at least a year. If everything works out as planned I intend to apply for visa next month which is August.
I decided to contact my NIS plug and explain my plight to her. She made me to understand that Nigerian passports can only be renewed when they have 6 months left before expiry date.
Should I just apply for a fresh passport and dump the old one or what?

Always read previous post before posting, I made a post about this issues on Saturday. Before I though it was that passport will be valid 3 months before visa application without knowing that is 3 months after your said program or returned date. I just noticed it last 2 Friday and I have paid my tuition. So I made some calls they said I can't renew till after six months, I called my guy that works in immigration before, he connects me with his friend in Abuja. And they said it can't be done in any state except abuja, I prepare and went to abuja on Monday he did the registration and capturing on Tuesday and on Friday I got my passport. But he told me that it will take maximum 3 weeks but I got it within a week. You can DM let me show you the passport

We may not know them, but in case you know them, kindly reach out.
