Gbam!
A Northerner will contest under PDP and because APC don do us bad thing, people will probably vote enmass for PDP and we will be back to square one.
I already lost hope on this country. Mere thinking of the current state of our nation can make one go into depression.

Thats my fear.... the northern elite would convince their people to vote the northerner PDP brings should APC field in a southern candidate thats why i said forgiveness is not critical in thinking

The North plays politics better than us I have stayed with them and even work as an INEC APO1 during 2015 election in the north a fulani enclave I have seen how this guys play politics...forget our sophistication and education in the south they outsmart us

You can't right any wrong because there are politicians like him from the north. If a southerner wins he/she will come with the "we are one" mantra and will indirectly continue from where b:uhari stopped.

Note that northerners are not protesting en masse against boo:Hari but the moment a southerner wins they will begin their protests against the southerner.

You're right

Buhari has never hide his intentions...Nigerians just get fooled

So unfortunate the whole country is going through this

You never can tell bro, same faulty electoral system ushered in Yar' Adua who vehemently said in one of the G8 meetings in 2008 that the election that brought him in wasn't free and fair and immediately set up M. UWAIS committee to draft electoral reforms and Jonathan continued with this and we all saw the improvement our electoral system made during GEJ tenure but unfortunately Nigerians went to elect in a coupist now he has draw the country backwards we just hope a miracle happens

That's why I am hoping and praying someone like Osibanjo or Peter Obi emerge as nigeria president come 2023.....there will be changes politically, economic and social cultural transformation.....

If we can rise beyond the confines of tribalism and religious fanaticism to elect some one wit good track records a technocrat and not a regular politician we will see true changes

Then by 2031 another f:ulani j:ihadist takes over and we're back to square one.

North does not play better politics than South. Better politics will bring peace and development not terrori:sm and kidnap:ping.

YOU ARE REPRESENTING A TERRORIST ORGANISATION

This statement by that man just touched me... undecided

He has the balls to confront a bunch of young girls, off guard in a foreign nation yet he cannot muster up the courage to come back home, confront the government and perform some real activism with those on the ground? Does he think he’ll achieve change overseas?

Bautista et al., were not overthrown from Miami

The Pahlavis were not overthrown from Pakistan

Lech Waleswa did not end communism in Poland from West Germany

If that man truly meant believe what he said, he’ll book a flight and come challenge the status quo on ground. He is simply a coward. That’s all.

Bro...rarely Will u find someone like buhari
Even abacha or babagida was never like him

Yar adua a fulani was never like him

He is kind of person....he has been like that from time.... someone that arrested former vice president Alex Ekueme puts him in kirikiri while shehu shagari who was the president was put in house arrest.... he never visits the south all this while he has been campaigning in 2003, 2007, 2011 because he feels the vote from the north was enough to make him president...

He openly supported gov. Yerima adoption of sharia law in Zamfara in 2001 and implored other governors to do same.... his remarks prior 2015 u can attest

So his kind is rare.... many nigerian politicians are not like that though they can be preoccupied with stealing but religious fanaticism it is rare

You perfectly understand bro. In simple term, 'the northerners do the talk while we talk the do'
We only have mouth, we're not smart.

What you put up here is exactly my thought too but me and you are just two out of millions of voters. Only someone with northern ties will defend the north by accusing the other person of blame game.

Hate can't destroy me because I don't hide from reality.

Would the hausa man have done what he did if the super falcons had hausa players in majority

Lolz at the wailings. Hailers are now wailers.
In the early days of this regime, the slogans were:
Sai baba.
He's appointing only people with integrity.
Body language.
You can't sacrifice seniority or ethnicity on the alter of competence.
Corruption is fighting back.

Nothing will change in 2023. APC will rig for whoever they present. Even if the person has a good heart, the person won't be able to do much. Buhari has polluted all the military/paramilitary.

Meanwhile, are we in football thread or politics?

That is not a protest. It is an assault on their persons and privacy. If someone comes to threaten you to your face and point fingers at you, would you call it a protest?

If you watched the full video, at some point he faced Zogg squarely and was saying stuff like "Is that how you behave in Switzerland, is that how you were raised" "You are supporting evil" with some other BS insults. The girl just quiet. He for try am with person like Chikwelu make we see if he nor reach ground immidiately. It was within their rights to at least push him away from there. Maybe they were just afraid of breaking laws and generating a bad image.

Even a police guy came for him at the of the video and was pushing him out. They would have never been charged if they pushed him out of their coach.

The bolded is the part that touched me the most. Zogg did not offend by choosing to play for us.

Why were the ladies using public transport and not a team bus? why wasn't there adequate security to at least prevent the guy getting close to the players? Buhari is not the first poor president we have had. The guy is just mentally disturbed to be taking out his frustrations on women who just want to play football and bring joy to many mentally scarred Nigerians

I watched the video and I must say, I think the man was right.

Some might say he should not have taken it out on the ladies who just want to fly the flag and represent their country but the man made few salient points.

Football is now a global Force. If we paint that all is well in Nigeria, we do a great disservice to the hundreds dying everyday under the mayhem of the mismanagement of the current administration.

He is an old time footballer, he is letting us know that it is wrong for Nigerian youths to play for the country.

Flying the flag under an evil Government is the same thing as supporting them.

I never knew that but the man made his point clear. Protested in the way he knows how and maybe he might have started a change from another angle.
