One day, a young soldier walked up to a well decorated senior officer in the army and asked him "Sir, what is the secret of your success in the army?" I want to be successful too.
The officer looked at the young soldier steadily for about 3 minutes and gave him a life threatening order. He gave the young soldier a cup full of water and told him to walk round the training field five times. He clearly told him that his life depends on it. That if a drop of water fall from the cup, another soldier would shoot him on the head. Four soldiers were strategically positioned to shoot him down once a drop of water fall from the cup.
Seeing how serious the whole thing turned out, he took the cup full of water and went out to complete his assignment. The young soldier carefully walked round the training field five full times without letting a drop fall from the cup. At the completion of the task, he returned the full cup back to the senior officer.
When the man saw his commitment to preserve his life by not allowing a drop of water out of the cup, he asked him the following questions...

Did you see those half naked girls dancing at the mammy market?

The young soldier replied No

Did you see those soldiers playing football in the field?

The young soldier replied No

What about those fighting across the other side of the field?

The young soldier replied No

Then, the officer looked at him and told him that if you keep focus on your task, you will succeed and also preserve your life. At that point, the young soldier left happily.

Lesson:

1. If you must succeed in life, you must clearly write out the area or areas you need to succeed in.

2. You must clearly spell out your plan of action with all the process to achieving your goals.

3. A lot of distractions will come in many beautiful colours on your path to success. How you deal with them determine how you will end.

4. Success has a bitter price. You must pay it fully. There is no shortcut to success.

5. Whether you succeed or not, your life is at stake.

Finally, those who distract you are the same people who will celebrate your failure if you eventually fail.

Mr. Peter had a job interview to attend at 10am but his wife developed complications at 9am. He decided to take the wife to the hospital and leave for the interview thereafter but on their way to the hospital, the taxi broke down. It was already 10:30am before he could get another taxi.
He arrived the hospital at 11am, dropped the wife and used the same taxi to go for the interview. He arrived the interview venue at 12noon(2hours late).
He rang the bell but no one opened the door. Meanwhile, earlier at 10am, the company mail delivery had rang the bell but no one opened the door too. When the door was finally opened, Mr. Peter said "I'm sorry, I came... " he wanted to apologise for coming late, but the Secretary interrupted before he could finish his statement and ushered him to the Board Room. The Secretary said, "I apologise, Mr. Peter, for keeping you waiting since 10am. We actually heard when the bell rang at 10am but we were held up in a meeting with our company suppliers.
However, we have sat since 8am to deliberate on your job specification, your office and the salary."
Mr. Peter was baffled and said, "Ma'am, I haven't been interviewed yet’’. The MD answered him and said, "We decided not to conduct the interview at least to save time and also save the interviewees money on transport. So we looked at the papers for the most appropriate person we wanted and we opted for you. Also, we had tested your patience this morning by keeping you waiting intentionally for 2hrs. That's part of your interview. You won't be disappointed. You’ll be shown your office, your secretary and the
driver assigned to drive your company's allotted vehicle. You’ll be on probation for 2yrs."
He got the job!!!
On his way out, his phone rang and it was the wife. She said, "honey, I was delivered of a bouncing baby boy." It was their fifth child and the only male child. He immediately named the child 'Miracle'.
He got a double miracle same day. All the disappointments turned out to favour him. God positioned the mail delivery man to ring the bell at 10am.
God also held them up in the meeting until Mr. Peter arrived.
_Note:_ You might be held up by issues in your life and hope might be diminishing and you think the chance is gone. But you know what? God's waiting for you to release His favour.
So don't go back along the way. Don't quit. Don't be upset by what you face along the way. In fact, God has already deliberated on your specifications.
One more thing: You don't have to go through any interview, since you have all the qualifications God wants.

The PKO produced would be N650,000 multiplied by 4 tons, which would give N2,600,000, the PKC produced would be 5.4 tons which would give N324,000 and the sludge produced would be 0.4 ton whichj would give N64,000.
Total sales revenue therefor equals N2,988,000.
When we subtract the cost of the raw materials from the sales revenue which would be N2,988,000 minus N2,375,000 therefore giving us a gross profit margin of N613,000 per day.

So even if we remove say 50% of this gross margin as other costs and expenses we shall be making a net profit of about N306,500 per day.

The cage is designed with open slots from where the expelled oil drains out. The bars are very well laid so that there would be no clogging of oil or loss of solids in the main cage.
The extra heavy-duty main expeller shaft in the cage is made from ringed iron bar worms (normally made from the main springs of an articulated truck vehicle), that are assembled sequentially such that the worms snake round the shaft from back end to the tip. The thrust of the pressure worm is taken upon a large ball-thrust bearing which makes for smooth crushing operation and alignmentt.

As the kernel nuts are fed into the expeller through a hopper (funnel) and picked up by the rotating shaft, the nuts are propelled by the spiral ringed worms on the shaft and as it moves the nuts through the tight iron cage, the nuts are crushed and the oil squeezed out from the ground and crushed nuts. The squeezed oil drips out through slits made in the basket bars of the cage while the palm kernel cake whose oil is thoroughly extracted and dried is expelled through the front end of expeller cone point. The oil collects in a through under the expeller cage from where it is channeled into the primary tank of the filter press ready for filtration. The palm kernel cake is then collected into bags measured and packed and ready for sale.

I remembered something Bishop David O. Abioye used to tell us back then while he was our pastor in Garden of Faith, Kaduna. He said "if you strike a tree 99 times and you hit it with ONE FINAL BLOW and the tree falls down, it was the 99+1 hits that fell the tree and not just the final one..."

Darren Hardy calls it, “the law of compound effect.”

Everything does not happen as fast or as quick as we want, but LIKE the Chinese BAMBOO Tree, after 5 YEARS OF CONSISTENT WATERING, in 6 WEEKS it grows from less than 10ft to 90ft.
That is why the bible says, “don’t be weary in well doing.” Even if it drains your energy. Remember the laws of energy conservation from physics; energy that you lose is not really lost because it reappears in form of success, achievements, and breakthroughs; the most important thing is to pass the TEST OF CONSISTENCY and endurance.

Great things happen when we put together consistent small steps.

One of the greatest hindrances to sustainable success is the lack of focus. Jesus endured because he SAW THE PRIZE AHEAD OF HIM. Even Christ had to pass the test of consistency.
Many times, we start and stop. Be it a business, writing a book, running a mission, exercising our bodies, investment, and savings, etc. We get discouraged because we expect instant success. But many quit at the eve of their miracle.

• It is consistency that makes you an expert skilled man.
• It is consistency that makes you see results.
• It is consistency that makes you develop a HABIT that sustains your success.
• It is consistency that turns mediocrity into competence.

You can be a businessman, a career person, a minister who wants to see growth and success in ministry, a sports man, etc. It is particularly important that once you are sure you are in Gods divine will, you NEED to maintain that stability. But if you keep “observing the clouds” and you are not found in your place when you divine helpers come, the angel might pass from you to someone else.

Consistency is a necessary process in the journey of success and divine fulfillment.
Those who abort process, abort destiny.

One day, I was watching a carpenter who came to work for me. I watched him hitting nails into a thick wood. I noticed some nails entered the wood too easily and they seem to fit in perfectly without much force while some took greater force, much readjustment and realignment and consistent heavy strikes to penetrate the wood. After fixing the structure, he decided to shake the joints and test the strength of what he did. I realized many of the nails that entered easily were not holding on to anything. Even though they produced aesthetics, they missed their purpose; thus; some of those nails were removed. While the carpenter fixed some of the nails back, others were thrown away.
The nails that needed extra force to penetrate the wood were the ones holding onto something and keeping the structure together. They were the ones that were relevant and remained firm in their position. They were the champions of the day, the ones that fulfilled purpose.

I realize nothing good just comes easy. We may have it rough at a point in our lives, going through discipline, chastisement, restraint, and realignment, but it can be a training for us to be able to stand when there is a shaking; to be the pillar that supports the structure and to be the champion of the day.
There will be times of self-doubt, fear and anxiety but remember, to every action there is equal and opposite reaction. Oppositions are evidence there is a position.
There was a story of a man in the bible who got a late-night visitor and he needed to feed his visitor. So he went to his neighbor house and knocked on the door. The neighbor replied, “Hey we have gone to bed and my family is asleep. I can't open this door for you.” But, the friend was consistent in asking for help and the neighbor had to oblige; NOT because he wanted to but because he HAD to.

When you are consistent, you get results. You FORCE results. You create an impact because with every blow from the hammer, energy is deposited to open the door.
Remember the parable of the talents.
God does not just reward skills and productivity; he rewards faithfulness and that’s consistency.
God will not look for you where he has not planted you. Just like in the case of Adam, God is Omni-present, but He expects us to be where He assigned us to be. When you are inconsistent, you lose trajectory and even in God’s power, He may start ‘looking for you.’
God wills for you to be a doctor; stay there and use your career to fulfill your kingdom mandate and preach the gospel.
God wills for you to be a software developer; use your career to fulfill your kingdom mandate and preach the gospel.
God calls you to be an architect, entertainer, comedian, telecommunication expert, estate developer etc. Use your career to fulfill your kingdom mandate and preach the gospel.

Therefore, we do not give up. KEEP PUSHING! Do not be weighed down by age or environment; be consistent; that is a key sure path to success.

5 reasons why we are inconsistent.
1. Lack of faith and clarity of vision and assignment
2. distraction and being tossed to and fro by confusing doctrines.
3. Inability to follow divine instructions.
4. Comparing ourselves with others
5. Trauma and inability to endue hardship.

But remember Jesus…who for the JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM ENDURED THE CROSS…Focus on Jesus and receive divine wisdom through his word to ensure you fulfill your assignment to the Glory of God.

The axle reduces the speed of the prime mover, adjusts and transfers the speed to the main shaft which rotates inside the basket of the crushing chamber.
. At the back end is the electric motor and at the front end is the cage and bars arrangement. All these are mounted and coupled together on a rectangular main frame solidly supported by three iron blocks. On top of the machine is a hopper through which the palm kernel nuts are fed into the machine

The crushing chamber is the place where the grinding and oil extraction action takes place. The main cage of the chamber is where the crushing activities take place. The main cage is made up of a basket of strong iron bars arranged and woven together to form a cylindrical cage inside which the main shaft rotates This specially designed strong iron bars (normally made from the main springs of an articulated truck vehicle) are laid side by side, and nut spacers in between them. The cage is designed with open slots from where the expelled oil drains out. The bars are very well laid so that there would be no clogging of oil or loss of solids in the main cage.
The extra heavy-duty main expeller shaft in the cage is made from ringed iron bar worms (normally made from the main springs of an articulated truck vehicle), that are assembled sequentially such that the worms snake round the shaft from back end to the tip. The thrust of the pressure worm is taken upon a large ball-thrust bearing which makes for smooth crushing operation and alignmentt.

As the kernel nuts are fed into the expeller through a hopper (funnel) and picked up by the rotating shaft, the nuts are propelled by the spiral ringed worms on the shaft and as it moves the nuts through the tight iron cage, the nuts are crushed and the oil squeezed out from the ground and crushed nuts. The squeezed oil drips out through slits made in the basket bars of the cage while the palm kernel cake whose oil is thoroughly extracted and dried is expelled through the front end of expeller cone point. The oil collects in a through under the expeller cage from where it is channeled into the primary tank of the filter press ready for filtration. The palm kernel cake is then collected into bags measured and packed and ready for sale

*ONE YEAR AFTER SHE CALLED ME AN IDIOT...*

She asked a question in a general Group on a WhatsApp platform.
I responded to the question professionally.

She tagged my response and typed: *"you're an idiot"*

Upon thinking through her response, I calmly replied: *"Thanks so much. Now that you have pointed out my attention to this idiotic part of me, I'll surely work on it, God bless you my dear..."*

*And the whole platform shook. Over 118 people commented. They were so surprised by my calm response. Of course she was terribly bashed to the extent that she "left" the Group.*

*An hour later she called me to apologise* for how stupid she's been etc. I forgave her and we became friends.

Then I later ended up handling her premarital counselling sessions.

Two days ago, on my Birthday, she and her husband surprised me with a gift worth over $10,000. This was a year after she called me an idiot.

*Life Lessons from this experience:*

*1. MATURITY:* Your reaction to negative feedbacks or situations shows how mature you are.

*2. CHOICE:* You have the power of choice whenever anybody does or says anything offensive to you.

*3. SELF CONTROL:* If someone calls you anything negative and you lose yourself and begin to fight or shout or do anything terrible, you only prove them right.

*4. SILENCE IS GOLDEN:* It is better to keep quiet and let people think you're a fool, than to open your mouth to enable them confirm you're truly a fool.

*5. DISCERNMENT:* You cannot throw both the baby and the dirty water away from the bathing bowl because the baby had pooed in the bath water.

*6. POSITIVE POWER:* You have the power to win people through your maturity and composure and not through overly being more sanctimonious than the person.

*7. POSITIVE IMPACT:* Life is all about people. If I had responded to her negatively, I would have lost a friend forever.

*8. WISDOM:* There are people who are sent to you by God to help your journey in life to be worthwhile, your meeting point might be at a fighting point. Be wise, even when you're angry.

*9. HUMILITY:* She was humble enough to call and apologized.

*10. RECONCILIATION:* Maybe there's someone you need to reconcile with today, go ahead and do just that.

We can all get better with ourselves, with these 10 key lessons.
