Benin country didn't fall in 2weeks and the war wasn't a 2weeks war. the british took capital city after 2weeks of heavy and brutal fighting. The war will dragged on for many months before the British won.

Can you prove the bolded? Hausa city-states are certainly very old. Same goes for the Kanem Bornu empire. By the time the Portuguese got to Benin in 1472, Kanuri people from Kanem were literate and were visiting the centres of civilization in the Middle East for purposes of trade, education and pilgrimage.

What do you mean by 'they didn't fought us'? The British and the French fought your people, defeated them and partitioned your then crumbling empire and incorporated them into the different colonial states they created.
