DISCLAIMER: DISREGARD DOCTORED VIDEO AIMED AT DENIGRATING THE NA

The attention of the Nigerian Army (NA) has been drawn to a doctored video footage released by secessionist sympathisers on Youtube, featuring blurred images of some persons dressed in green camouflage destroying a farmland in an undisclosed location, recently.

In an attempt to denegrate the reputation and image of the NA, authors of the video mischievously attributed the action of the persons to the military by falsely claiming they are soldiers and invariably personnel of the Nigerian Army.

However, following a fact finding investigation on the video by subjecting it to credible reverse image, it was discovered that the video was first published on YouTube channel "BIAFRA BOY" . The investigation also revealed that the image of the men in green camouflage was deliberately blurred to conceal their identity from viewers. Similarly the authors failed to identify the location, community, or Local Government Area the incident occured.

Given these facts, it is apparent that the video footage is a deliberate propaganda by ESN to bring the reputation and image of the NA to disrepute by portraying personnel of the NA as enemies of the people. Members of the general public are please urged to be warry of such negative propaganda materials and subject them to thorough scrutiny. We therefore urge the public to please discountenance the propaganda video as it is the machination of mischief makers targeting the Nigerian military.

We reassure the general public that the Nigerian Army will continue to operate professionally regardless of all divisive propaganda. We assure all peace loving Nigerians of our commitment to aid civil authorities in the containment of security challenges in line with constitutional provisions.

They are same aircraft carrying different weapons. Their design/specification as well as their history is same.

The major difference is that one enjoy better media coverage than the other.

M346 FA. We already have relationships with the OEM. Russia is under sanctions. The only waiver we can get would be for our remaining MI 35M.

Thanks for the upload. Another reminder despite the common mantra for Su 75s (sic) and other super weapons there's no escaping the need for adhering to the BASICS of warfighting, what the Americans call, TTPs, Tactics, Techniques and Protocols.
Those positions were COMPLETELY unprotected! Did anyone see razor wire? Lack of return fire and organised resistance was glaring.
I CAN'T find a single solitary FECK for those Saudis and Sudanese. These are the true tragically neglected victims:

At this point, egypt is just buying for fun...... The cost of maintaining the platforms they already have is enormous and they are still going for close to 150 of a jet with high maintenance and operation cost that will give them no capability they do kot already have.

I disagree with you sir with on the bolded part, don't underestimate the Egyptians. They know they are sorrounded by enemies even amongst Northern African/Arab border countries.
Do you know the Egyptians AF has the highest numbers of F16 fighter jet after the USAF and I can tell you that over 90% of them are still operational. These Egyptians way back from history don't joke with there military.

Here are more infos on there past deals.

Egyptian fighter jet deals:

Rafales F3, F3R
24+30- $5.9-$1.2 Bln/ FREMM+$4.5 Bln (France24, il Fatto Quotidiano,Reuters)

Su-35SE
30- $2 Bln (The Drive)

MiG-29M/M2
50+2- $2 Bln (Daily News Egypt, but reported as Mig-35)

Yes the Sinai is a no man's land and its vast in land size
But internally the insurgents don't dare to come and invade or reck harvoc.
Yes they've have there own fais share but they are curtailing it well even in the Sinai region.
