Commentor: And you think the average pastor makes only his salary as income? Ever heard of love offerings, pastor's offering, pastor's appreciation day? They make much more than their salary but work only 3 full days a week State govts have said they can't even pay minimum wage |

Entitlement mentality.. Were you forced to be a Pastor? Why can't you resign and do some other things with your lives? Someone is accommodating you, giving you 6k as pension... Salary is 100 percent sure.. Yet you are making noise because you are sacked. As a Pastor, your job is to be a blessing to your congregation, and they would inturn bless you materially. It's obvious these Pastors have not been called by God... Time would Tell.. 1 Like |

dangoteinlaw: Monday to Saturday Chop 5.30am to 6.30am you're expected to be there to oversee (if you're in Lagos you connect to the hq if out of Lagos you're in charge) After that clerical works at the office (for those in lagos), send this report or prep that statement. Repeat Chop and head to caananland, where you'd most likely spend all your day. Wednesday repeat Chop. Do your clerical job and then prepare for mid week services. (In Lagos connect to hq, outside you're in charge) Thursday repeat Chop. Do your clerical jobs, people want this prayer or requests etc. Friday repeat Chop and head to caananland to collect allocation money. Saturday repeat Chop and start preparing and strategizing on how to get your province to bring the highest number of buses with members to the hq, where you're most likely spending the most of your day at. Sunday (In Lagos all head to the hq as not service holds in lagos) outside Lagos you prepare for your service/sermon. This is a basic schedule, if the church is a special time eg Wofbi or some other season, this becomes added to the above stated. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Let's apply wisdom.. As at December 2020 oyedepo had employed 10,200 pastors on Nigeria alone, not counting his branches in other African countries and other continents.. https://www.nairaland.com/6243321/winners-chapel-employs-10200-pastors He recently employed more pastors for church growth (establishment of more branches). Calculate what that amounts to even if we agree that the gross salary is N53,000 as alleged.. of course senior pastors will earn more... And he doesn't owe ! Remember that accommodation (rent) is already taken care of and is no longer part of the expenses to be borne by the pastor from the N38,000 net. The pastor's rent may likely be subsidised by the church as the N9,000 rent allowance for the pastor may not be enough.. The church may also have a welfare package that the aggrieved pastors have not disclosed.. Lastly do not judge until your hear the church's official response. There is something known as right to fair hearing Modified: the 10,200 pastors were even the ones newly employed in 2020 meaning that he has far more pastors in his employment 1 Like |

Commentor: Oh, so you acknowledge now that there are other sources of income? So how much is a love offering in an abuja satellite church? Your arguments defeat your own premise. You've acknowledged every single pastor makes more than the posted salary |

AngelicBeing: My dear, I'm just tired o. Anybody who has been opportuned to be a part of a small growing church will know how these pastors suffer in Penury to even stay alive. Building the church is from their pocket. Even buying fuel for generator is from their pocket. Then people will still come and meet them for free food and money. You will nearly weep for them and their poverty ridden kids. But no be you call them. These pastor are freaking greedy. They should start their own church and see if spiritual battles alone won't send them scamping for safety. 2 Likes |

ChiefSosa:Oyedepo has never received salary in his life. In those early days when pay was like N20 salary a month or so. If they give him, he puts it into the offering box immediately. Till he directed accounts to be putting it straight without even giving him again. Now, people bless him with millions, free gift! NOT TITHE OR OFFERING. Just dash. For the roof of the church, it was one single man’s dash to the bishop. The man did not even know the church needed to roof. He read a book bishop wrote and his finances changed miraculously. So he came to appreciate d man of God! The pastors knew the pay package b4 they entered? They were not forced? Ok. I don’t think the complain is valid. The only tin I see, is that those accounting ministers that kept back monies meant for pension and housing belonging to fresh pastors in their personal accounts shud be dismissed. It’s FRAUD. The bishop does not know abt it. |

Missyajoke:According to the teachings of Jesus Christ, everyone who believes, be he sinner, a false prophet, or none, is likened to a tree that bears fruits. Each tree bears fruit - no fruitless tree!. And the fruits they bear are either good or bad depending on whether they obey Him or not. That is why Jesus Christ boldly declared that by their fruits you shall know those who belong to Him from those who don't belong to Him. Those who belong on the vine that is Jesus Christ, however are branches and not trees. And according to Jesus Christ, those who remain in Him as the branches remain on the vine will produce fruits - only the Father can cut a dead branch off the vine. - John 15 vs 1 - 11. .... Your pastor's accusation of fruitlessness are "fruitless" stems from the fact that he has no true understanding of the teaching from which he quoted from, even though Jesus Christ made Himself quite clear. Jesus Christ cursed the fig tree because it had no fruit for Him to eat at the time he was hungry. And the lesson Jesus Christ taught was that of faith not of fruitlessness as claimed by what I read. |

You guys should understand that winners chapel is everywhere and the church cannot pay fat salary. In my LGA alone, there are up to 15 branches, and most villagers pay N10 as offering. N10 or N100 every Sunday cannot pay fat salary. Their pastors make extra cash from other things like naming ceremonies, pastors gifts etc. When bashing, also remember that the church does maintenance and other things. LFC is trying IMO. Atleast they are paying above minimum wage some states say they cannot pay. It was my favorite church then before I stopped going to church. Church na headache biko |
