The honda crosstour and Toyota venza were discontinued because it didn't appeal to a large market and sales were slow.
Those two two cars are not defective. People just dont like them enough to buy them. But down here, the story is different

Is it 2 batteries (24v)
Or 1 battery (12v)

I'm sure its 24v but need to confirm

Basically open it, note how the terminals were connected, buy equivalent batteries and connect how the old ones were connected (you might need more wire)

We no longer enjoy clearance as it suppose to be since we now have middle men who rename it declutter.

Sadly, it is what it is. That is why calling out sellers who quote prices that are not "clearance prices" here is a futile effort. We will never see the end of it.

Aside the Nigerian greed factor, nature abhors vacuum. It will always find a way to fill any vacuum (imagine that someone earning 100k lands a new job that pays 600k. Within the next few months, the 500k space will be filled with needs and wants from both him, relatives and friends... grin grin)

A typical case in point is the despicable overpricing that plagues the Autos section here on NL. Middlemen everywhere, inflating prices up to 200k to even 500k on cars that they don't even own.

So, people will always fill up the "price space" of truly discounted clearance prices with their greed (profits for themselves) until they hit normal market price or even go beyond.

Our concerted efforts should be focused on encouraging buyers to do their due diligence and negotiate from an informed price level. Also, we should tone down on our wanton attacks on sellers who quote prices here, trying to be civil about it. Some of them may have quoted ridiculous prices out of genuine ignorance. If we lash them so hard, they may lose face and resort to using these declutter guys (middlemen) to do their clearance sales. Finally, buyers should respect reasonable prices and desist from negotiating further as doing so makes sellers to "pad" their prices, knowing that people will always negotiate.

Most of you sellers lack basic human relations skill. The last seller I contacted here is in Abuja. I was interested in a wardrobe he advertised. Unfortunately for me, I am in Jos. I called him and informed him of my location, I didn't negotiate the price because it was a good clearance price. I spent 600 to and fro a park to get a commercial driver to pick up from Abuja and bring to Jos.

...long story short, he said the driver had to pick up from his place. Driver said he can't go into town due to task force wahala. I pleaded with him to send his account details so I can make payment (proof of seriousness) while I look for another alternative, I was ghosted.

Dear Seller,
You guys should try and come to a common ground with your prospective customers. We make efforts/sacrifices most of the time to make purchases. The least you can do is inform the buyer that you can't sell instead of blocking/ghosting people. This attitude is nauseating.

Na money I no get sha, if I get money before wetin I day find for clearance sales.

Sellers here should also be reasonable with their pricings. Some "unfairly used" items for sale here is about the price of a new one. Some even are more expensive than a new one. When you call their attention to it (I guess they ignored their common sense), they assume you are bad energy. I sometimes come here to laugh
