Igbos were never divided. If they were divided, some igbos would've been in south south today with the rest being in east. Yakubu gowon separated the minority tribes from the blood thirsty igbo people. It's the reason why we have our own region today. You know the fact now is: Igbos were living with so many minority tribes (the coastline people) in a single region before gowon separated the minorities from them.
