Yes a low cost aircraft purpose designed with high endurance loitering capability will be very good for CAS

Cost effectiveness not only in terms of aircraft costs ( operational costs ) but also interms of the weaponry makes it highly desirable

American Government don’t need to send anyone down here. They’ve got the Biggest Spy Donor Agency called USAID.

Them no Dey give free funds to countries for nothing. USAID spends over 400 Million dollars yearly in Borno only. Make I keep quiet shaaa lipsrsealed Foreign policy?

Americans are smart and will continually remain as world leaders till next generation.

They have more information about this Insurgency than the Nigeria government

Why state the obvious

Only fools dont realise that there is no such thing as a free launch in this world

Most of the prominent NGOs have links to US establishment one way or the other to do the bidding of US agencies under the garb of human rights which ironically they fail to provide to their own people ( as usual CNN WP NYT etc are too busy shiiting on others to note that they themselves are in shiit upto to their nose ) or more ironically trample the same in other countries due to their wokism political economical geopolitical interests.

Now wait for someone to white wash it as usual

I will ask a simple question who fanned radical islam ie Wahhabism ?

Everyone knows it , no it is not the middle east countries they were simply the runners the fall guys.

Bandits have released six from a group of 28 people they had been holding for 67 days, saying they released four of them as Sallah gifts to their community in Katsina State

PREMIUM TIMES reported how the outlaws in May killed a local businessman, kidnapped 28 residents and rustled several cattle in Batsari town.

But local sources said the bandits on Friday evening communicated that they would release a woman and her son after her husband, Umar Tukur, paid them N2.5 million as ransom.

However, a resident, Misbahu Batsari, said “when they were to release Hussaina Umar and her son, they decided to select four out of the remaining people in captivity and sent them as a Sallah gift to the people of the community.”

Mr Batsari, who is a journalist, said the victims had been taken to the hospital for medical check-up.

He, however, said the victims released are from the same house, noting that the community had no clue why the bandits acted that way.

“They (the released victims) look very tired and frustrated.

They told us how heartless the kidnappers are. An infant, who was kidnapped alongside his mother, died in the kidnappers’ den.”

Hussaina’s husband, Mr Tukur, declined to comment on the development.

“What matters is my wife and son have come back to me,” he told our reporter.

The police spokesperson in the state, Gambo Isa, said he had issued a statement on the ‘rescue’ of those kidnapped but added that he had no information “about the release of those six people”.

The four people “sent as Sallah gifts” include, Marwanatu Bello, Zainab Bello, Yakubu Bello and Muhammad Bello.

While sanctions do have an effect on countries like Nigeria it is negligible in countries like Russia and China.

Russia produces and pays for all her military equipment using the local Russian currency, hence they can add thousands of military equipment each year, same as China, so no effect of sanctions.

South-Africa under Apartheid is another good example where sanctions on their military had some effect but not as much as it should have since they produced military equipment locally.

Hence for a country like Nigeria, developing a strong local military industry is a matter of National security.
your so right, imagine how America under Obama messed and insulted us internationally when we tried to buy the cobras from Isreal and armour from South Africa

DSS invites Newsdiary Online Publisher over investigative story

By News Express on 12/12/2019

The hierarchy of the Department of State Services (DSS) has invited the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Newsdiary online, Danlami Nmodu, to the headquarters of the Agency in Abuja for questioning.

A DSS operative who called Danlami by telephone on Wednesday morning, said the invitation was with respect to a story recently published on the Kano Ecological Fund projects.

He was asked to come either Wednesday or Thursday morning.

It could be recalled that Newsdiary online had published a story, titled, “Diplomatic backlash, legal tussle loom as FG dumps German firm over Kano Project”.

After publishing the story, the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, made further facts available through a rejoinder, which clarified the issues.

The Federal Government’s equally illuminating rejoinder was copiously published by the newspaper.

The online newspaper was also among those who went for an on-the-spot assessment of the Challawa, Sharada and Bompai N2.6 billion ecological projects in Kano in the aftermath of the Newsdiary online story.

However, highly placed sources said on Wednesday that the DSS may be investigating how some documents quoted by Newsdiary online leaked.

The editor-in-chief, a Member of the National Institute, Nigeria’s highest policy think tank institution, Nigeria Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, who was asked to report for questioning, it was learnt, will be at the DSS headquarters on Thursday morning from 10am.

Russia has to stop bad habits like swallowing Crimea, wanting to chop Ukraine and killing dissidents with radioactive pills.
Russia needs more self confidence to allow their people to vent. Americans invaded their own capitol, fight their internal contradictions in full glare and will become stronger for it. Russia is hiding behind the skirt of one man
western propaganda at its best, America does worse than Russia daily, imagine how they invaded Panama and picked up a president general nouriga, destroyed Iraq for oil but they term theirs doings God's work while Russia is doing evil Abi, Iraq, Iran, Crimea, Ukraine etc it's all about money, oil and economy

You sound like you consume a lot of CNN and leftist propaganda. grin grin

There was a referendum in Crimea. The Crimeans voted to join Russia.

Russian black sea fleet is based in Sevastopol, so you expect Russia to just hand over their military assets in Crimea to the West?

Why did Britain go to war in the Falklands? A historically Argentine territory?

Russian has been in existence for over a thousand years, why you think Putin is responsible for holding Russia together shows your ridiculous ignorance of Russia.

beats my imagination, people feeding fat on western propaganda..
All what you have said is nothing but the truth
