I have always read on here about people asking for business plans and looking for ideas to enable them manage the resources they have for a particular business.

I am in my late 20s. My Mom had me out of wedluck and ever since the pregnancy my dad never showed up as both were teenagers.

Life has been from Pilar to post and from hand to mouth. Though through the help of aunties and uncles I was able to get educated and I have served as well.

So just last week my mom (who later got married) called me and told me that my Dad reached out to her and she gave him my phone contact.

He called me yesterday and after we talked for the first time in my life he told me to get a business i could do with 300,000

Pleases guys I know he wronged me by running away and he hasn't set his eyes on me since I was born, but I sure do need this money.

i wish not to be the devil's advocate here and I have no idea what you guys must have discussed, but which man would speak with you for the first time and instead if initiating to see you, he just wants to offer you 'just' 300k for business after leaving you and your mom for sooooo long? Bill am 2M if he's serious to have you back as his child. Besides, what kind of business would 300k even do set?? He should have initiated on seeing you first before making any cash proposal to you.

Forget about business unless you wount be feeding from the money,otherwise in less than a year you would be asking your self where the money is...go and learn a skill,computer engineering or mobile phones,graphic design and a lot of it.comme and thank me later.ignore those that do copy and paste of unrealistic online articles,even if the money doesnt yield,what ever skill you have aquired will yield for life.

Make sure you invest the money wisely.
Look for trading business. Any daily consumptions or daily needs business will be good to start with for a little capital like that

300k can not do so much in Nigeria currently but what i can suggest is investment, you can invest 300k into another person business and collect your interest, the company i work for Realty Point Limited has an investment for just 250k and you can receive up to 18.5% ANNUALLY. we still have other investment with as low as 25k you can begin to call yourself a landlord, ,y company is over 25years in business so be less worried about issue.

Ur papa give u 300k after years of neglect now u wan enter street abi to start hustling right okey if so why not ask ur neglected papa to buy you a mini bus to start up transportation business because 300k will finish before u say tom abi u no go pay shop etc be smart oh ur neglected papa wan pay u off

300k is like not giving you any money at all for business in this present Nigeria economy.

I will advice you go into OK business. Buy fairly used shoes and clothings... Go for the first grade. But since you are new u have to do serious marketing of the products. In no time u will get customers. Start from ya home since no shop yet with time u will elevate. Business I must tell u need a lot of patience. With time other advice will follow. Best of luck.

so far I think this is the best advice here. This advice doesn't only thrash the issue of money and business, it will go further to strengthen the relationship you ought to have with your prodigal father
