Reports say that Lokonga was about the best player on the pitch Vs Millwall. Dropping deep to spray passes. Was very comfortable on the ball and always looking to make long forward passes.

From what I'm seeing, Arteta just start rebuilding the team. He want a young team that can grow together. Abraham and uncle Rammy 's transfer rumours are valid evident. So arsenal fans should expect youngsters if arsenal is to sign any player again.
Guen and Saliva are missing out due to attitude issue.

IMO, he is in the right direction. those older guys have bee disappointing.

I don’t like the Tammy Abraham link one bit . He gives the Yaya “Sir-No-Goal” vibes . I mean we signed Sir-No-Goal for being a promising young striker having been the highest goal scorer at the u-20 World Cup that year , only for his lanky ass not growing past the potential level. Tammy too was promising in Lampard’s first season , only to falter afterwards.

If we can’t get any other good striker out there , maybe we shouldn’t sign Tammy at all instead we should use the 40M get a good RB and let dem Balogun/ Martinelli step up to that backup CF role

Agreed...Arteta should look for better young striker or wait till January.

Why are focusing on positions we don’t need! As it stands, ESR is the only AM we have.. Who is going to partner Partey? Lokonga looked good but that Na friendly.. Elneny Na Chief Sideways passer..What if Partey goes down? I mean he has looked good especially with his fitness and conditioning but we are very short in the middle.

I thought they were still working on Aouar and only planning to announce his signing towards the end end of the transfer window like they did Partey last time; hence I thought the midfield issue was sorted already .

I am personally concerned about RB because as of today I don’t see us having a decent RB in any of the players we currently parade

Arteta may be comfortable having Chambers and Cedric fight for RB seeing no activity in the area at all.

As for AM and CM, na God hands we dey.

As for me I will stick with Laca upfront ...I pray Auba gets his groove back....now ESR is good but I will still need Aour or Madison ....in d middle I need a partey backup though Eleny is there but he is not my type of defensive mf..as of Sambi I have not watched him play....At right back I pray our southampton products ....Cedric and Chambers perform i know what Cedric can do if he is in form...Also if Chambers can add pace to his game he would b a great RB....and let d club finish it's transfer biz early

Laca is in his final year I will rather we sell him and add the money to get Madison, we should integrate balogun and martinelli for backup of striker.
We yet to fully settle in the midfield, I still wish we go for bissouma to partner partey but it's like xhaka will stay.
For RB, I don't want to see bellerin body and spirit in that position same thing with chambers we should get Aarons or this Dutch guy at euros
No one is talking about the wing position are we fine there?
I don't think so cos saka is the only consistent guy there

You see well bro. I think Arteta wants to build a squad he can work with for at least 3years (Roland17) as a team. He is bringing down the average age to less than 23. That's ok for me.

1. All these numbers they are sharing, hope it won't come back to bite somebody.

2. Priceless pic, something both of them can cherish together.

3. Aarons is more like wishful. I don't see a RB coming this TW. Sambi, Martinelli may not hold first team positions this early season. Especially Martinelli. Though I believe he can usurp Willian in that LW before season ends. We need an AM dearly.

4. Highbury makes Emirates sound like a scam. sad

Well, not all clubs hold such policy towards issues like that. That's why its the norm to speak ONLY after departing, mostly.

3 years? With this kain Haram wen we dey endure? Make I kukuma leave that one.
As for recruiting younger players, I have no problems with it, after all I am huge supporter of our Hale End products.
However, will they remain 23 forever? Shebi dem go grow? Does that mean we will never pursue an established star player who is older than 23 because Arteta lacks the man management skills?
I have been reading how some of us have chosen to blame Guen/ Saliba and other you g players who had personality clashes with Arteta and I am using that as a huge yardstick for calling for his sack. What is ESR/ Saka clash with him? What will happen? We would trade them? He has to earn his respect from his players.. nothing more.

I miss Highbury so bad! Unlike the Emirates, Highbury had fans closer to the field and it made the experience electrifying.

I can never fault Saliba for anything, Arteta own that blame intoto. Even Mourinho could have handled him better , Even Guen

i won't call it cowardice. That's the aspect of football we don't like seeing. They can ruin a career forever with sanctions, etc. Its just somehow sha. Not all want the "extra attention"!

They will not remain 23 forever, they will grow with the new idea/ vision, and when they are old or tired or have new ideas of their own,
hopefully new ones will takeover from them.

Roland, how should a manager deal with a rude/disrespectful player or one that is not playing to instruction? beg him? counsel him? pamper him? I don't think so. I as a manager will bench your as.s and find a replacement for you, and if you don't adjust I show you the exit. There should be many better than you to replace you. I pray Saka and ESR will not misbehave cos I love those kids....but if they should, then they will have to find their way out while Arteta remains. It is that simple.

It applies in all aspect of life and business.... I used to have a brilliant staff, he was really very good...but I think the praises got to his head, then he partially disobeyed my instructions, When I queried him, he sounded disrespectful...Maybe he thought I couldn't do without him, so I suspended him. When he came back, he came back with an attitude and his performance dropped.... I sacked him and found another to do his job and I have no regret till date.

Honestly, I don't know any good manager that will condone disrespect from his players.... I know Guardiola won't, Mourinho won't so I dont expect Arteta to, even if he is the worst manager in the league... His position deserves only respect from his players. If anyone wants to succeed as a subordinate/player, he/she must obey all the laws of power.
