Since there is no too obvious study gap (graduated 2018), You can either go for a PG. Cert program related to Economics or go for a PG. Cert program related to your Fed. Govt. Job & Job Duties (though you didn't mention the name of the Fed. Government Job & your Job duties to get possible program suggestions) As an Economics graduate, I feel you can go for a PG. Cert in FINANCIAL PLANNING, that being said, see the link below, google each programs, check the overview, tuition amount for international students, admission intake, also very importantly, check their course outlines to see how it resonates with your economics background https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/158#98297080 1 Like |

Is it normal for eligibility review to have started about two months ago and yet no response? Raised a thousand webform with just the generic response. Gcms notes ordered and nothing much just... This... I dont know why the wait has to be this much and my application is since February 25

Iffylove: No. When you login to your account,it appears as profile update, but bear in mind some individuals don’t even receive any update till a decision is made. |

Hello guys, Please I need your help! A sister of mine got her medical request on the 21st of July, her effort to book assessment with IOM Lagos or Q-life has been futile so far as they don't have time slot within the 30 days expiry period set on the medical request letter. She has about 23 more days till the request expires. Is there a way she can get the medical done without going through the online booking system? If there is, please how can she go about it? If not, what can she do to maybe get the due date extended and how? Thanks in advance for your help. #VictoryIsFromGodAlone |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by elenewton1: 1:20pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
Congratulations to her. She has to print the medical request letter and take it to any of the hospitals (IOM or Qlife). When she explains to them with the printed copy as evidence, they would work out a date for her in order to meet up with the 30-day deadline. All the best. Sholaystar4me: 1 Like |

Thank you . I got the good news this afternoon at exactly 12:11pm, two days after I sent mails to two parliament members and few minutes after I sent a webform. Here's my timeline (non-NSE route, although I submitted mybankstatement for some accounts and normal statement of account with a letter from the bank with bank letter head as well as my IELTS result) Application submitted: April 28 Biometrics done: May 7th Upfront Medical examination done: June 8th Medical examination updated to passed: June 15th BVL/Correspondence letter: June 25th PPR: July 27th, it's the perfect birthday gift my birthday was on July 21st and I wrote this in faith that I would get it a day before my birthday but I would still take it as my birthday gift sha I even started packing my bag this week, lol God is great indeed! I got to know about this thread after I applied but I've learnt a lot and I would like to say thank you to everyone that has shared their journey on here, you guys are amazing.
