My hp elite book 820, I switched it on to type for a while and shut it down, so decided to charge it and it refuse to charge even has refuse to come up, hat to test the charger with another laptop to confirm if it is working and it was but still yet my laptop not coming up

My HP pavilion g series refuses to power on even after removing the battery and it doesn't indicate if it's charging anymore. What could be the problem.
N.B: my charger is working fine.

Remove the back cover, take our the battery , then press and hold the power button for let's say 20-30 secs.
Then connect the charger and see if it will power on.

Power on your laptop, then insert the disc and power it off.

Turn on the laptop and Keep pressing the boot menu key.
For HP click on F9
For Dell click on F12

When the boot menu window comes up, select the the CD ROM option, and click enter.

Are you an architect? for those movies, you can rename the format after .mp4.aeur just remove the 'aeur' at the back of the. mp4 it should change to a video format

i believe every windows system do have restore points, before the issues of the virus started, before your files changing to that aeur, just do a system restore point back to an earlier date or time. this will take u back to how ur system is before the virus enter. you will lose ur recently installed programs

You have to create it before you can access a restore point,if he didn't do that before the virus attack then it won't work but since it's ransomware,I doubt system restore point will work.

Ransomware attacks are almost uncrackable because each attack has it’s own specific decryption key. At this point, you will loose your files since even the antivirus companies can’t help you.

As a precaution, be sure to take advantage of windows 10 ransomware protection feature. Don’t also forget, cloud storage is no longer a fad, it’s a feature you can use. Thanks

I have tried it, it doesn't work, I even tried to restore in safe mode. It is showing this after each restore

system restore can not help. the damage is beyond repair done by the malwares.

that is the solution, but you will lose all your files.

Hello guys,

My HP elitebook 2570p is giving me issues..

To power it up expecially in the morning is one big of a hell moment.. did all the hard reset, remove battery etc.. but the laptop won't just power on.. but when i plug the charger.. the laptop shows the charging light...

Sometimes it will take some couple of hours before the laptop will choose to power on.. after which there wont be any problem from it through out the day even if i shut it down.. it will come up..

The major issue is that first power up in the morning which takes hours..

Please help.. what may be the issue guys?
