She code switches. If you have grown up in multiple countries, and been exposed to different accents, code switching will be easy for you

Vee used to code switch last year, and una no call her accent fake. How can someone who was born and did her basic studies, and tertiary studies in the UK have a fake UK accent? She literally learnt how to speak English with the English accent. It was Secondary School she did in Nigeria.

Her accent is not fake tho ...however its acquired...its not her default accent...unlike vee and khafi ....even with their yoruba ..u could hear the underlying British accent....I think her basic and secondary schooling were in 9ja ....her default accent is Nigerian....which is why she defaults to it when she looses inhibitions..

Her accent isn't fake. It cannot even be fake. She was born in the UK. Also spent sometime in the US. Having a foreign accent is natural for her type.

You shouldn’t compare Vee’s accent with Maria’s. Cos even when Vee switches it’s not for long. I would want Maria to have an argument with someone. A heated one. Whatever accent she argues in, is her real accent. Anyway you have your opinion and I have mine.
