LOL, okay, that's it, I'm done replying you, I will chat myself up and backdate it to over 2 months ago right?

I don't think it will be wise of me to keep replying who argues baselesly

My guy! Be calming down... grin...I added that line as a second thought, just to rattle you... cheesy grin...my apologies bro.

However, my point is, if we want to counter unrealistic prices quoted by sellers here, let us do it specifically, with facts and figures, referencing the exact same product and the price on the open market. Jumia is a good source. That would be the objective weapon with which all of us can prevail on the seller to review the price or go elsewhere to advertise.

That's my point, bro.

Cheers!

You know, i’ve only just seen the pics you attached of the chat now. That said, are you sure you weren’t being duped? The chat pic you posted shows it’s 55inch tv but the model number of that tv says it’s 50 inches. There is no way that person selling doesn’t know how many inches of tv they own or even that it’s a 3D tv. I have another bigger sized 3D Tv (well, it used to be 3D) but when it got bad, due to rough handling by the shippers, the board was switched out so it’s just a normal HD tv now. The owner of that tv that wants to sell for 80k doesn’t own that tv (i’m not saying it’s stolen) to not know that it’s
1. 50 inches and
2. 3D.
Something doesn’t add up. I ordinarily wouldn’t waste my time trying to school you but I see you might be a victim here and I’m naturally disposed to look out for people who are ignorantly being misled.
If you want my take on it, that tv was abandoned at a local repairers shop and he picked it up, swapped the board with a normal hdtv board and now wants to sell it. It’s virtually impossible to find the 3DTV board in Nigeria that’s why I had my bigger one swapped. Dude, the person who wants to sell to you has no idea how many inches or that it’s even 3D. There’s no way he bought that tv 3D cos the price at the market alone would’ve made him wonder why he should spend such for just 50inches. The seller would even brag about it being 3D.
This person you mentioned knows nothing about 3Dtvs and probably doesn’t even know about the tv’s glasses. When you see him, ask him if the tv came with glasses. Are they passive or active glasses? If you get a dumb stare from him, run.

Okay, let me clarify everything one final time.

I wanted to get a TV and really didn't mind the same thing size as long as it is not smaller that 40 inch, but my girlfriend refused saying she wants something bigger, so there is this guy that sells TV who also has a repair shop next to her mum's shop (I don't think you will know tv's better than an actual TV dealer who has been into the business for years would you) , she enquired from him and he told her 130k or so, can't recall, but she begged him and he went down to 80k last because he has known her for a long time, now she is not very familiar with Tv's, she only cares about size, so I guess the size mistake was from her as I also verified after asking her to snap and send the back of the tv to me, I discovered it was a 3d TV and the man just wanted to sell it at that price cos of their relationship.

At last, I didn't buy it, but decided to go for a 43 inch led. When I asked her if the TV was still available when you enquired the last time, she said he told her it was 120k last since it was not her buying. Now, I posted chats of the price, the tv model and the tv itself, now you are saying it has been worked on, well I don't know how else to tell you that I don't have time to be beating down your price if it is fair, going by your pricing, that guys tv should not cost less than 500k. I even checked jiji that time i think, the most expensive of that same exact 3D panasonic TV that I saw was about 200k or so.

Note. I personally checked out the tv myself but was not willing to part with that amount at that time as I had other things to do with finance and TV is a clean as new, it is 3D.

If you want to sell at normal market price, nairaland allows you to create multiple threads per person to advertise your goods.

But if choose to post your items here, then let it be below normal market price, well below market price cos that's what clearance is about.

A lot of things I won't post here cos I no fit sell them as clearance items.

Make Una de try abeg, I visit this place every 2-3hrs daily in search of clearance items. Hardly do you see anything these days.
cry cry

Secondly, I de come this thread catch cruise,
The back and forth arguments everytime eehn grin cheesy

I appreciate your honesty on this but may I ask how you knew it was 3D? Were there glasses? If so was it active or passive? Did you test the tv and saw 3D menus or even the 3D detected signal? Did he play a 3D movie for you to verify?
Did you see the TV in the repair section? Cos trust me, most Tv repairers advise you to abandon your tv when you bring it for repairs that the panel is gone. Only for them to swap it out with a normal tv board and put it up for resale. They wanted to do same to me, but I insisted he returned the Tv back to me, that was when he swapped the board and it lost its 3D abilities. My take on your case, that Tv was probably abandoned by a 3DTv owner and the repairer just swapped the board. It’s most likely no longer a 3D Tv.
I’m thinking of ordering the replacement 3D board for the big one from abroad though it’s rare and expensive, that’s why I want to sell my 32 inch 3D tv, then I can get the cash for it. There’s no point having two.

I have been observing every post in this place and truth be told, the qouted prices are not only exorbitant but outrageous for a 2nd hand goods not to talk of clearance sale goods...

Around May that I tried buying a wardrobe from someone here, he said 50k, I priced to 47k, he refused and I later got a brand new bigger wardrobe for 40k from a furniture maker made to my spec.

Not here to badmouth anyone just my observation...

Majority here are educated illiterates, a thread was named "Clearance Sales" so contents prices here should be relatively low. If new or expensive items are to be sold then countless thread could be opened in respect to that but this is Nigeria where everyone is sampling his or her MSC and PHD yet everywhere we have 1000morons per square inch.

I don't know if Jumia operates in Anambra but your price is higher than Jumia where I can return the items if defective within a certain period.

Returning your own will require I engaged the National assembly.

It's going to be shipped from abroad, I will wait for 3 weeks and buy peace of mind. Go open your own thread and sell your items.

Then go and buy from Jumia bros
No sane person would buy anything over priced if there’s a similar cheaper option.
The thread has casted, it has casted
When sellers notice no body is paying attention to the ad, they’ll be forced to reduce price to a reasonable level.
All these back and forth won’t take us anywhere.
Tomorrow seller will still post the same item. So there’s no point quoting them.
I haven’t seen anything reasonable to buy, not because sellers are hiking price but because you guys keep quoting them taking up space in the thread.
And sellers, it’s not every mention you reply to.
I’m here to buy stuffs, not to state the obvious, that has been said over and over again. When there’s no solution to it.

How can you say jumia is cheaper and yet your screenshot consist of different products. Please search for that particular product on jumia and get back to me. What you saw there are just normal earbuds, battery life is around 2.5 hours and sound is normal.
You're also out of reality if you think jumias ship from abroad takes 3 weeks.
I don't think you know there are earbuds of 10,000 naira and above.
You can easily get your refund from me,kindly go through my profile and check. There's no way I'll have a bad transaction on nairaland without the person calling me out.
I prefer to refund you than have a bad reputation.
You can easily buy from jumia if that's your price range. We're in a free world.
Apologies if my reply sounds offensive.
