bro don't let them scare you with huge amount they are mentioning here I'm also building a 3 bedroom bungalow along side with 3 unit of self contained and 2 shops in front of it, if you look at what they are mentioning in regards to the money you would be discouraged but I'd advice you every month invest 100k or 50k in the project, it might take time but you would definitely get there.

Yes you can, in some locality.

A 1000 blocks molded by Aboki will give you 2 rooms.

30 bags of cement can mould at least 1500 blocks.

Another factor is the land, if it's located on hard unswampy areas, you don't need to dig your foundation deep.

You can get fairly used windows
Fairly used kitchen kitchen wares
You can go for normal zinc
Go for wooden ceiling, those rubber ones are just useless. Small thing cocroach go full your house.

This is what you should do. Go ask for Aboki laborers, and look for the ones that mould blocks. Buy like 30 bags of cement and ask them to mould for you, you will get atleast 1500 blocks. You can buy 35 to get more blocks. Water them yourself daily if there's no rain then park it in your land. Blocks gets stronger with rain so no fear.

Those laborers will also link you to a local builder with experience. Some block moulder builds too and some are really good from experiences. Negotiate and make sure you have enough money to keep them busy till roofing level.

Buy fairly used doors, door handles, even tiles. Them full market. You just need to ask around. Where's your location.

Put it in mind that your intention is to have a roof over your head and not luxury, so do it at your own pace. During roofing take the estimated wood bills and get them in the market yourself. Once it's done,use fairly used windows. You need to buy them and let the person putting them to work with their measurements. Please no be by force to plaster the house for outside, once you can plaster inside and floor the rooms, tile the sitting room, you are good to move in. The other rooms, you can tile each little by little. Just floor it lightly.
