Pictures of five prospective Corps members that lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident, while on their way to the orientation camp in Katsina, have emerged, Newspremises reports.

The NYSC Director, Press and Public Relations, Adenike Adeyemi, who confirmed the incident said the fatal motor accident occurred around 2am on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, along the Abaji/Kwali Expressway.

They are said to be graduates of the University of Uyo and Akwa Ibom Poly. One of them has been identified as Miracle Asuquo.

The joy of every parents,is to see their children through school,after the compulsory useless one year youths service,get a job and buy them someting from their salaries.the joy on their faces alone,is enough to open more doors for their children.
But,they died not even buying their parents recharge card of 100naira.
Aaaah!..GOD!my heart bleed for their parents.

May God grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss. Taking care of a child from being a baby to being a grown up adult... Is not easy.. Not to talk of sending one to school for those periods... God will comfort the families involved

Why?

Well the real tragedy is the lack of sensible adults to advice them against embarking on such a perilous trip.

Northen Youths barely leave their home state to serve. Infact they are all domiciled in Abuja or their state of origin.

But Southern Youths will be moved from Rivere State to Libya just to serve an incompetent nation.

They should end the NYSC thing abeg, it's just a waste of time.

If you post a Northerner to the South, he will just call one green teeth Alhaji in Abuja to relocate him back to Zamfara.

If you post a Southerner to the North, he will just transfer 30-50 to one NYSC official to relocate him back to the South.

The goal of NYSC is unity and that goal has been soundly defeated. I remember having an Aboki as my roommate for a while during my NYSC days, during that time, I was very uncomfortable living in the same room with someone who behaves very different from me, someone who can't even speak good English.
We had nothing in common.
Finally, I had to find a way to move to another room.

We are not United in Nigeria and we can never be, we hate each other, we are very divided and discriminative toward one another, the only way forward for the people in this region called Nigeria is to split and go their separate ways.

NYSC must bear responsibility of transporting anyone out of their geographical zones by AIR.

These madness guised as National Cohesion is irrelevant and dangerous when combined with horrible roads and raging killers up north. They could have been kidnapped and killed in the said Kastina state.
