One of the reasons that if you're been defrauded in Nigeria you can never get justice with police. They work hand in hand. Someone defrauded me some years back, it was in my presence the police codedly give the criminal his account number. I wasn't surprised of this news, it's a Karma and I thank God the indictment is from USA not Nigeria where they will kill criminal and witness overnight to escape the mess.
