Just a note boss, busbars are crucial!
Try and get them with the batteries.. diy busbars are not easy to get in Naija.

Copper tape with suitable thickness drilled appropriately and sleeved if you want is easy to do at alaba. I've DIYed busbars before. It's easy.

I have this Daystar 5kv inverter that doesn't recharge my batteries. I had to get famicare external charger to charge the batteries. I've been using it like this for over one year and no identified issue.
Any advice on what to do to get the inverter to recharge the battery??.

Does that charger really push 50amps at 48volts? Or the amps is inverse to the nominal voltage?

How does it fare with power supply interruption?

-1.5kva Schneider hybrid inverter (with 50amps charge controller inbuilt)

-2pcs x storenergy 200ahr/12v batteries

My 30amps famicare charger is set Fast charge setting. My battery is now hovering between 14.9 and 15.0v (max charge recommendation), but the charger is outputting 12amps current charging.

Is this normal? I would have thought the output charge would have been throttled down to even 0.5amps since the battery has reached its max charge recommendation to protect it from overcharging - that is how my Anjing charger was doing back then.

Or is the charger not smart enough?

Update: I reduced the charge setting on the Famicare charger to Mid, and the outputting charge has dropped to about 8amps while the battery voltage has dropped to 14.4v

I once bought Schneider DC breakers from GUDU Electrical Market,
ALL of it were FAKED and disappointing... I have seen Chint products but have not used it
i hope it will not be same sad 'stories' we find in Nigerian Markets!

max current in battery charging doesnt occur at maximum charging voltage which usually happens towards the end of bulk charging phase...

max charging current phase occurs at about the beginning to middle of bulk charging

What product is those green battery? What is the capacity and how much?

with just a tape measure and portable drilling machine you can make as
many pieces as you need using a good quality copper belt (like the type used to
install lightning arrestors)
i remember posting some pictures of the ones i made far back when i was installing
my new battery bank.

I understand all these.. my point is if you can ship in Lifepo4 cells that weigh 34KG why not add screws and busbars that only weight some grams, I have cell then I can connect, and use them immediately,
In your example it will take one or 2 days to get it sorted..

CHINT are as good as any Chinese brand you'll veer come across. I use CHINT and TOMZN extensively
